Absolute Resonance

Middle of Celestial Mirror City, Golden Platform. 

The three supreme figures had lazy expressions as they swept their gazes through the void. There were countless screens of light projecting scenes from within the minor worlds and the battles that were unfolding within.

"Oh!?" Wang Xuanjin suddenly exclaimed lightly. His deep gaze was focused on a minor world that contained a gigantic violet-gold dragon.

The other two figures, Elder Jin Xi with the golden jade seal and the white jade python, Elder Bai Yu, also had surprised looks in their eyes.

"This is a transformation into a true Heavenly Emperor," Bai Yu said with a warm voice. "Furthermore, it's a Nine-clawed Heavenly Dragon. I never expected this little brat to actually possess such a pure Heavenly Dragon bloodline. I can sense the aura of the Dragon Race's Honored One in his body."

Wang Xuanjin grinned. "He is a member of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li, so it’s natural that he has a trace of the Honored One's aura. Furthermore, he can be considered a descendent in a way."

"Principal Wang, do you know him?" Elder Jin Xi asked.

"Mhm. This fellow is called Li Luo, from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li's Dragon's Fang Lineage. He contributed greatly in the Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm and allowed me to sever one of the All-Beings Devil King's crowns," Wang Xuanjin answered.

He looked at the violet-gold dragon with a smile. "I never would have expected that he'd become a second-grade Transcendent in two short years. The speed of his progression is startling. Furthermore, he's quite unique. He actually possesses six types of resonant power, and there's even a hint of source origin within his resonant power. It's no wonder he's able to overcome a sixth-grade Duke."

Elder Bai Yu said in a soft voice, "With that sort of talent, he can be considered to be at the top in the Celestial Mirror Pagoda. However, it's a pity. How did he end up running over to the side of the outer divine continents?"

The territories fought over by the outer divine continents were the smallest; even if added together, the amount of Celestial Mirror Sand available was tiny.

Elder Jin Xi gave a shallow smile. "I can understand why he did so. His talent and potential cannot be underestimated, but he's still only a second-grade. Being able to beat an upper sixth-grade Duke should be his limit, and there is a lower seventh-grade Duke even amongst the outer divine continents. He might not be able to overcome that opponent and obtain the top position."

Elder Bai Yu nodded in agreement. "A lower seventh-grade Duke is considered a high-grade Duke. They've opened their Duke's Worldspace Domain, so their combat capabilities far overshadow even upper sixth-grades. The Celestial Mirror Pagoda's trials have gone on for many years, and second-grade Transcendents have come and gone. Even then, those who were able to overcome a seventh-grade Duke then were incredibly rare."

When Wang Xuanjin heard the two's conversation, he grinned. "That remains to be seen. We might see it happen this time."

Jin Xi and Bai Yu were taken aback by his words. Just why did Wang Xuanjin look at Li Luo so favorably? Wang Xuanjin didn't explain himself; he merely continued to watch the battle between the outer divine continents and sighed emotionally. 

"It seems like the outer divine continents’ vice principals have relied too much on the Tree of Resonant Power's secret art. This will harm their talent and their longevity, affecting their future growth."

This so-called secret art of the Tree of Resonant Power was something passed down by the Academic Federation. It allowed one to borrow the energy of the Tree of Resonant Power to assist Dukes with breaking through. This would then allow their breakthrough to achieve a better result. Alas, this came at the price of harming their future growth for present gain. 

"There is no choice. The cultivation resources in the outer divine continents are too sparse. Even with the Academic Federation's distributions, it's difficult for it to compare with the inner divine continents. Thus, they have to rely on these extreme secret arts," Elder Jin Xi continued. 

Wang Xuanjin sighed lightly and didn't speak further while he continued to watch the battles.

Yan Feng's sudden fall had shocked the squads within the minor world.

No one had expected that despite the large gap in strength between the two, the Azuresea Divine Continent would lose so drastically!

Furthermore, the one who had lost was a veteran upper sixth-grade Duke!

Yan Feng's foundation wasn’t comparable to Shui Baoping or Zhang Yu’s, but he still had a nine-pillar Duke Bergfried. As the vice principal of the Holy Turtle Sage College, he had received numerous cultivation resources and even a King's pointers from time to time. Even then, this experienced vice principal had been swiftly crushed by a second-grade Transcendent from the younger generation.

The result sent shockwaves through everyone's minds.

Whilst everyone remained dumbstruck, the transformed Li Luo began to stare threateningly at the rest of the Holy Turtle Sage College's mentors. His voice rumbled through the air.

"Qing'er, Mentor Chi Chan, clean them up."

Lu Qing'er, Chi Chan, Cao Sheng, and Mi Er nodded. Li Luo had already dealt with the strongest, Yan Feng, so the Holy Turtle Sage College's morale had collapsed.

Meanwhile, Li Hongyou immediately created four Crimson Heart Golden Seals, which she used to bolster the four of them. A moment later, four figures shot out.

The remaining mentors from the Holy Turtle Sage College hurriedly braced themselves to fight back, but under the pressure of Li Luo's draconic might, their strength was sapped and the entire squad was routed in a short amount of time. 

Once they had admitted defeat, a beam of light descended from the skies, sending them out of the minor world.

The Astral Sage College's squad had thus occupied the first Domain Traversal Platform. This caused the squads of the East Divine Continent to feel that the worldly natural energy they could control had increased by a good amount.

This was the blessing of the Domain Traversal Platforms.

The rest of the squads from the East Divine Continent roared in joy.

Even some of the vice principals cried out approvingly. Li Luo had stepped forward during this critical moment and turned the tide, causing even their stilled blood to boil with excitement once again.

In contrast, the Azuresea Divine Continent's squads felt as though a bucket of cold water had been doused upon them. What had happened was unbelievable. The upper sixth-grade Yan Feng had been defeated by a youth second-grade mentor!

However, some of the calmer vice principals on the Azuresea Divine Continent's side began to pull themselves together, attempting to inspire their side. "There is no need to worry. Vice Principal Shui Baoping and Zhang Yu still hold a large advantage over their opponents. We aren't disadvantaged yet!" 

Shui Baoping's name was like an unshakeable pillar in their hearts, capable of reassuring them. The squads from the Azuresea Divine Continent stopped panicking and immediately began to steady themselves. 

"It looks like Shui Baoping's reputation is very high in her region." Li Luo also recognized this. 

At this point, the central Domain Traversal Platform began to erupt with violet energy, and Guo Jiufeng urgently shouted, "Help me, Mentor Li Luo!" 

Yan Feng's defeat had simulated Shui Baoping, and she immediately fought with everything she had. Terrifying attacks poured down on Guo Jiufeng like a tide.

Under her frenzied assault, Guo Jiufeng was gradually forced backwards as he cried for help. After all, Li Luo was the only one who had been freed up at the moment.

Boom!

When Guo Jiufeng's voice sounded out, the void in front of him exploded and a petite figure shot out of it. A vast ocean along with a giant Kun summoning up massive tidal waves manifested behind her, smashing the void apart into insignificant fragments. Guo Jiufeng's Duke Bergfrieds roared in unison and dense Divine Mist descended, forming an absolute bulwark before him.

Bang!

Alas his defenses were crushed by Shui Baoping's slender fist, and Guo Jiufeng was sent flying backwards tens of thousands of feet. The energy and blood within his body shook violently.

Shui Baoping's gaze then turned towards the coiled titanic dragon and she snorted coldly. "Li Luo, if you have any ability, you'll wait for me to deal with Guo Jiufeng before we face each other alone. If I lose then, the Azuresea Divine Continent will directly admit defeat."

When Li Luo heard this, roaring laughter echoed out of his gigantic frame. He clenched his claws, and light flowed around them.

A moment later, a gigantic bow appeared.

It was the Heavenly Dragon's Sunchaser Bow.

A clear voice then rang out.

"Vice Principal Guo Jiufeng, hold her down and I'll shoot."
