On a beach we could see a boy around the age of 14 stare at a giant boulder before getting in a stance.

I blankly stare at a 5 meter boulder before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath and let it out then concentrated on the warmth in my body and imagined the sun's heat and energy radiating on the earth and filling my body with it and mixing with the life and energy it has already given me. I opened my eyes and pointed my palm at the large boulder in front of me and directed the warmth to my palm and imagined it shooting out and as soon the warmth enveloped my hand a large dark purple stream of flames shot out of my palm and coved the boulder. It wasn't too soon after maybe 5 minutes that when i felt sluggish and my legs went weak and it almost brought me to my knees then a thought came to my mind and I quickly retracted the warmth and the stream stopped and I finally fell to knees covered in sweat I didn't notice was there." shit this must be what it's like to run out of chi huh. Well i guess i may have used too much for my first time so i guess i should practice first before i do the advanced stuff like lighting" i thought then started to practice.

It's been three months since i got reincarnated and i have made incredible progress with both fire and ice bending which is thanks to me reading up moves and studying the show before I died. I also discovered that lunar eclipse happened every three months or at least that is what i'm basing it of the time i got here and what surprised me was that i didn't lose my ice bending or the power didn't decreases at all but i would need to unlock water bending to fully see the result. Something else I pondered about was my ice bending which I feel like I reached a block since I couldn't use it how I want, like making a sphere of ice or a pillar a few feet from me and I would be spending a bunch of chi and it was kinda slow.
After about a week i came up with a possible solution but i wasn't a expert so i decided to go up into the air temple and started to search around for the guru but after half a day of searching i couldn't find him and just as i was about go back to the beach but i stopped when i heard a voice from behind me."is it me you have been looking for young man" a voice said then i made a fire whip and quickly turned around and saw the dark skin and long beard guru who had a calm face even faced with my fire whip." calm down young one there is no need to be alarmed i have been watching for the last few months and have not once come up until now which peaks my interest on the reason" Pathik says and i release my fire whip then told him my problem with my ice bending and he went into deep thought for a moment before answering me." from what you have told me ice bending is about the combination of air and water bending and you do have the knowledge of the principles of the bending but you don't have the experience with those individually and truly integrate the teachings into your body, mind and soul" Pathik said and i nod since i thought that was also the reason but i wanted to confirm my suspicions then i was taken out of my thoughts by Pathik."by the way there's something different about you i can't exactly tell but your chi is way higher then even master benders"Pathik said and i was confused since even though i know the true meaning of fire bending and ice bending i thought i would at least be above average. Just then i remembered what death said that to unlock the other two bending styles i would need to meet the original bender which for air would be a little difficult since aang hasn't awoken yet but i felt we would eventually meet. But for water bending its the fucking moon! How could i get there and since i had to physically meet them i couldn't just study how the moon moves the water even though it would help when i learn it.
After a couple of minutes I made up my mind on my next course of action." i've decided i would have to travel the world even though that was my initial plan but it's two weeks before my initial departure but it never hurt to leave early right" i asked Pathik and he gave me a small nod and we both went our separate ways.

It's been a couple of hours since my short meeting with the guru and I figured out my problem with ice bending, however I then had another problem." HOW AND THE HELL AM I GOING TO GET ON THIS ISLAND!" i yelled out loud then sat on the sand then tried to remember any useful then i remembered when katara made a surfboard mad out of ice and propelled herself with waterbending but since i didn't have it....yet i could use firebending bu had to use it sparingly since even though i have gotten better at the control of my flames i still had to be careful since i don't know how far the mainland is.
After thinking of all the risks I made a 3 meter wide platform then cover my feet in ice and merged it with the platform. I took a quick glance at the island I was reborn in and signed since it was technically my home for my whole life but I know it's always good to adventure and experience life. After giving one more sigh before sending a small and steady flame that launched me forward and began my journey.

Its been about three days since i started on my journey and i mostly sustained myself with fish and melted ice but finally i found land and i was about to kiss it but it was mostly rocks and dirt. I then used jet propulsion to scale the large wall of rock which took me a minute to get up. When I finally got up I looked around and something seemed familiar and I walked a little further until I came across a quarry and i finally realized why I found this place familiar."ain't this the place where aang learns earthbending?" I said and I took a second look around and saw the natural training method's toph used and I decided to stay for the night and train my lighting bending since I knew there has to be a better way to use lightning.
I sat down on a reasonably flat boulder and started to come up with ways to make lightning bending better and i had to think back to all the demonstrations of lightning bending and i realized that the one constant thing about lightning bending was that it always spreads out and the only time that it either spreads at a certain point or that even if it doesn't spread it's slow as hell since it tends to bend on it's way to it's target. I started to think of a bunch of ways to get rid of that weakness and i even tried to think of some inspiration from my own and while most didn't work I got an idea from concentrated firebending since it should work and it might even give me more power.
I looked around for a suitable target and saw a large boulder about 5 meters tall about 100 feet away from which made me smirk since it was a perfect test subject. I started to gather lightning with that dance thing azula does since i am not on ozai or iroh level. When i was ready i focused the purple lightning I generated and launched it but i tried to make it narrower which actually worked and I smirked but that smirk quickly disappeared when my lightning hit the boulder. It only left a scorch mark which was disappointing since my regular lightning could destroy the boulder. I then went back to the drawing board since i knew i was on the right track but my release method wasn't right then i tried to think of a different way to use it.

It's been a few hours since my last attempt on condensed lightning and I hadn't thought of any ideas since i'll i had to do was condense lightning at release... or maybe I could do it before release. After that sudden thought i looked at boulder again then gather lightning once again then pointed my fingers at the boulder then focused on the energy about to release and as soon as it got to my finger and about to release i stopped the energy from releasing and it looked like the lightning was dancing on my fingers.i then used my previous method of thinning and condensing the energy until i felt a numbing in my arm and was about to release the lightning but i noticed that it was dark purple and is at the borderline of pure black. When I released the lightning it was way faster, about almost twice as fast and when it made contact with the boulder it absolutely destroyed it and to my surprise it kept going and when it hit a wall large cracks appeared and a deep crater appeared. "wow that was way to overpowered and even a little costly" i said with widen eyes a i then looked at my numb right arm that i could barely move." well looks like i know my limit or well a goal to overcome '' i thought with a smirk on my face as i looked at the crescent moon in the sky knowing i just unlocked a powerful technique.
