Chapter 19: Chapter 18 - Capacity to evolve infinitely.
Why do some people think it's bad to tell Hephaestus about the system? She is the goddess of blacksmithing and his wife.

When we returned to the bedroom, I stored the second refined-rank sword alongside the other.
"You don't need to leave those swords here; you can store them in the training room's inventory."
"I don't trust leaving them there. These are my best creations so far, so I don't want to lose them."
"No one's going to enter there and steal them."
"Even so, I'd rather keep an eye on them."
"You're so stubborn," Hephaestus said with a smile. "How about we take a bath? I want to hear what you want to 'explain.' Let's do it in the bathtub—it's the perfect place for a conversation."
Hephaestus hugged me from behind, and I grabbed her hands.
I turned around and kissed her lips. "Alright."
Still unsure if telling her about the system was a good idea, I joined her in the bathroom. We cleaned ourselves as the bathtub filled with hot water.
We got into the tub a few minutes later, and Hephaestus sat on my lap. I hugged her from behind as she asked,
"You want to talk about the swords you forged, didn't you?"
"..."
"Don't worry. Even if you're doing something questionable to evolve so quickly, I'll stand by your side."
"Of course, I'm not doing anything questionable. It's just a little unbelievable. I'm not sure if you'll believe me."
"I can tell if you're lying, so I'll believe you." Hephaestus chuckled. "Don't worry, just tell me everything."
"I received an ability that allows me to improve my blacksmithing skills infinitely. It also allows me to evolve more easily."
Hearing my words, Hephaestus froze for a few seconds.
"You're not lying..." she said, astonished. "How is that possible?"
Even as a goddess who had lived for so long, she had never seen anything like it. A human receiving such an ability? Impossible!
"I told you it was unbelievable." I hugged her tightly. "Are you scared? That someone like me received so much power?"
"What kind of question is that?" Hephaestus held my hands. "Of course not. If you received such an ability, there must be a reason for it."
"A human married to the goddess of smithing receives the ability to evolve as a blacksmith infinitely. Fate is extraordinary."
Hephaestus laughed.
"When did this happen? When did you receive this ability? I haven't updated your falna in a while. How does this ability even work?"
"Hmmm... I can explain it in detail, but it might be boring."
"It doesn't matter! I want to know everything! Even I don't have knowledge of something like this. I need to understand!"
Hephaestus stood up, splashing water everywhere, then sat back down on my lap, facing me, and looked into my eyes.
"I've always known you're someone amazing," she said before kissing me.

I began explaining how it worked to Hephaestus.
Of course, I hid from her the fact that I had only recently taken over this body. I spoke only about the system. Since she didn't understand the concept of a system, I tried to explain it in a way she could grasp.
"I received an ability that shows my level and allows me to level up as I forge swords. The higher my level, the better my swords become."
I didn't tell her about the "Accelerated Growth" ability or the likelihood of gaining more blacksmithing skills in the future.
"So it's like the falna. You can level up like adventurers."
"Exactly. But this ability I received isn't connected to my falna. You know that, right? My falna is normal."
"Yes. But still... Even knowing this is true, I can't believe it."
"You've never heard of anything like this?"
"There's no record of anything similar."
"I see. So, I'm the first."
Hephaestus stared at me and sighed. "You've told me about the ability, but how do the magic/abilities on your swords works? They're incredibly strong. What level are you at now? Can you tell me?"
"Right now, I'm at level two."
"Level two? And you can evolve infinitely?" Hephaestus's eyes widened. "How is that even possible?" She held her head in her hands.
"To be honest, I can't explain all the details myself. When I forge a sword, it receives a random level(rank), and a random ability is embedded in it. I can't choose the ability."
"So even the swords you forge have levels?"
"Yes, but they're limited. There are six levels, and those two better swords are level two swords."
"The more you talk about it, the more overwhelmed I feel. I need some time to process all this." Hephaestus rested her head on my chest. "But I'm glad you were the one who received this ability."
"I'm glad too. I was tired of being just a burden."
"I've never considered you a burden. I love you, and I would never treat you as one. You're incredible."
"..."
"And please, don't tell anyone else about this. If people find out about your ability, things could get complicated."
"To be honest, I wanted to hide this even from you."
"What!?"
"It's such an abnormal and powerful ability. I wanted to keep it a secret. But since we're married and I trust you so much, I decided to tell you."
"I'm glad you told me. But even if you hadn't, I would have figured it out eventually. Your growth has been so sudden—something strange was obviously going on!"
"I'm sure it never crossed your mind that I received an ability like this."
"Well, I never imagined a human could receive something like this."
"Now that you know about my ability, how about dismissing that girl? I want to train alone from now on to focus on leveling up."
"You don't have to tell me twice!" Hephaestus said with a grin.
