Dragon Ball: The Forbidden Dimension

Scene: Goku's House - Morning

Chi-Chi is bustling around the house, searching every room for Goten. She's clearly annoyed.

Chi-Chi: [shouting] Goten! Where are you? You know we have a function at Bulma's today!

Goku is lounging on the couch, casually eating some fruit.

Goku: [calmly] He's not home, Chi-Chi.

Chi-Chi: [frustrated, hands on her hips] What do you mean he's not home? Where did he go?

Goku: [shrugs] He told me he was heading out for some training with Trunks. He said he'd be back in time for the party, so don't worry.

Chi-Chi: [glaring] Don't worry? Goku, you let him go off who-knows-where on a day like this? What if he doesn't show up on time?

Goku: [grinning] Relax, Chi-Chi. He promised me he'd be back. Besides, they're just training. What's the worst that could happen?

Chi-Chi: [fuming] You and your "training"! If he's not back on time, Goku, you're the one who's going to deal with me!

Goku scratches the back of his head nervously as Chi-Chi storms out of the room.

Scene: Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber - Months Pass

Goten and Trunks are in the vast white void of the chamber. They're sweating and panting after intense training. In front of them, energy pulses from an attempted attack fizzles out.

Trunks: [catching his breath] This isn't working! We're doing exactly what Buu did, but it's not tearing anything open.

Goten: [thinking aloud] Maybe we're missing something. Buu screamed and used raw energy to rip open the dimension. What if we're not strong enough?

Trunks: [nodding] Or... maybe we're not doing it the same way we did last time.

Goten: [tilting his head] Last time? What do you mean?

Trunks: [snapping his fingers] When we opened that Earth dimension with Buu, we weren't just Trunks and Goten—we were Gotenks. We were fused!

Goten: [eyes widening] Oh yeah! You're right! That's why we had enough power to pull it off.

Trunks: [grinning] Then it's decided. Let's fuse and give it a shot!

The two stand up, ready to perform the Fusion Dance. They align themselves perfectly, determination in their eyes.

Scene: Capsule Corp - Afternoon

Bulma is decorating for the function with the help of robots. Vegeta is standing with his arms crossed, clearly uninterested.

Bulma: [looking around] Has anyone seen Trunks?

Vegeta: [gruffly] I can't sense his ki. He must be suppressing it.

Suddenly, Goku arrives, landing gracefully in the garden.

Goku: [cheerfully] Hey, Vegeta! Hey, Bulma! How's it going?

Vegeta: [scowling] Kakarot. Do you know where Trunks is?

Goku: [scratching his head] Yeah, actually. Goten told me this morning that he and Trunks were going off to train somewhere. Not sure where, though.

Vegeta: [gritting his teeth] Hmph. And you just let them go?

Goku: [grinning] Relax, Vegeta. They're strong kids. They'll be fine. Besides, Goten promised they'd be back in time for the party.

Bulma: [sighing] Well, I hope so. In the meantime, you two can help me with the party preparations.

Goku: [stepping back, waving his hands] What? I just came by to see what's going on, not to help!

Vegeta: [smirking] How weak can you be, Kakarot? You can't even help take out some boxes?

Goku: [frowning] Oh yeah? Watch this!

Goku uses Instant Transmission to move several large boxes at once, making it look effortless. Bulma smiles approvingly, while Vegeta rolls his eyes.

Bulma: [grinning] Thanks, Goku! Maybe you're not so useless after all.

Goku: [smiling proudly] Told you!

Vegeta: [muttering] Show-off.

As the scene closes, Bulma continues to direct the preparations, with Goku reluctantly helping and Vegeta supervising with his usual scowl.
