"Oh my Father!" Gabriel gasped when seeing a massive figure beginning to walk into the room.

His stats were monstrous. Issei quickly retained his surprise to appear more confident around the God. "Issei Hyoudou... I've heard the small stories about your accomplishments. I just needed to see who you were in real life. It's only been a few months since you've been in the supernatural world and you're already impressing the leaders. How about after this entire problem, we go and spar?"

"I wouldn't mind that."

"Partner, are you sure you want to fight against him?" Ddraig internally asked him with some caution. "Thor has been known as someone who's just like you. A brute of pure raw strength and absolute power. The difference is that he's just you but stronger. He'll go to the extreme to have the time of his life."

"Partner, don't worry about this. What's the worst that can happen? It's not like he's going to kill me or anything. It's just a friendly spar."

"And there you go jinxing it. Hasn't anyone told you to never say things like that?"

"Fuck..."

Being brought out of his conversation with Ddraig, Issei simply turned to Sirzechs and the other leaders. "How many hours do we have left before going off to fighting against Loki and his shenanigans?"

"Estimations... around twelve hours before he gets released." Ajuka announced before Issei nodded and disappeared leaving the entire room in silence from his sudden departure.

"Did he just poof out of here?" Azazel asked.

"He really just does whatever he wants." Sirzechs chuckled at Issei's audacity to do something like that in front of all the leaders. "He's really different from the other youngsters."

Meanwhile, the reason for why Issei had left was because of the fact that he needed to contact Artemis to explain his plan.

"Artemis, are you there?" Speaking through the communication circle with his Goddess, Artemis replied with a very tired response.

"Issei, this better be a good reason for why you are calling me this late!" Artemis was the grumpy type when tired.

"So hear me out. I'm currently going to be fighting against Loki-"

"ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH ME RIGHT NOW!"

Flinching at the sudden outburst, Issei could only speak in a more quieter tone, "I'm not doing it alone. I have Thor with me." Hearing that he wasn't going into the battle alone made Artemis feel much more comfortable, especially when he was going with Thor, one of the most legendary figures in the supernatural world. "Not only that, but my plan was to summon you with me. You always said you wanted to be there whenever I get into heated battles. So, I'm bringing you with me so you can fight alongside with me. Two Gods and the Red Dragon should be enough to defeat Loki."

Hearing that, Artemis demeanor completely relaxed. "When is the battle because I'm sure as hell being there and keeping you safe?"

"In about twelve hours."

"Perfect, I'll get all the preparations set. I'll ask my brother for some special equipment and I will be coming in my war outfit. I will NOT HAVE YOU GET HURT on my watch."

After saying his goodbyes to Artemis so she could finish her nap or preparations, Issei was left alone in the night staring into the darkness above. There were no stars, it was just the darkness that was enveloping the encompassing surroundings. The sounds of crickets and the breeze from the air blowing against his face was soothing. This was one of the very few times where he didn't need to do anything knowing that something will be done soon.

"Now you're in the realm of fighting the Gods. Soon, you'll reach my level and we'll have a grand showdown in the Boosted Gear." Ddraig appeared on his right arm with the Boosted Gear.

Issei could only shake his head in amusement, "I'm still leagues below your power. Don't start sugaring me up to make me feel good."

Ddraig chuckled before speaking once more. "Partner, Loki isn't a joke. He may not be the biggest issue, but it's the fact that his son is more powerful than him. Fenrir at his fullest of powers is barely competing with the power of the top 10 beings."

"Full power? What do you mean by that?"

"The beast isn't at full power. For some reason, thankful reason as well, the beast isn't nowhere near its full power. This fight should be fair enough where you take on the beast and Thor takes on his brother. Since we have no other liabilities around, you both should be able to take the two down."

"With Juggernaut Drive, I should be able to damage foes around Thor's level. I'm just glad I'll be able to hurt Loki if I need to."

"But you also don't have much time in that form."

"I'm surprised you're allowing me to even stay in that form."

Ddraig snorted in response to that, "I've been your partner through the thick of it and everybody knows. You're just too much of a knuckle head to stay out of trouble. I can only just support you and hope you walk out alive."

Staring up into the sky and stretching his body, Issei smirked, "Let's beat the shit out of a God."

With that, Issei remained silent and continued having smaller conversations mentally with Ddraig. Hours went by while Issei relaxed his mind.

The time finally came and Issei was seen standing next to Thor where they began preparing a teleportation circle. From the crowd, the first person to walk out towards the two was someone Issei didn't expect. Venelana had walked out with a case. "Issei..."

Hearing the soft voice, Issei turned his full attention to the kind woman. "Yes?"

"I know we barely have met each other, but I want to ask you something very important. It's just an instinct for me to be very caring to youngsters, but there's just something about you that wants to make me care for you." Handing the case to Issei and watching him grab the small little box case, Venelana continued, "If there are any issues, please contact Sirzechs. The reason why these leaders aren't allowed to, or are very hesitant to, leave and fight with you two is that if something were to happen with the leaders and they disappeared, then that would be a huge loss on the factions side. The leaders are the people that hold the factions together and losing a part of that link would be detrimental."

Issei simply nodded, but Venelana wasn't finished yet. "However, Sirzechs doesn't care. My little boy was always born to be a fighter. He will always do what is right and will always protect those he considers friends. Please, if you have any issues, let him know and he will always be there to help. I just don't want you to continue walking into these fights and barely escaping alive."

Seeing the worried mother, there was something about this woman that reminded him of his mother. Was it the color of the hair? Was it the smile that she carried? Was it the gentle touch that the woman had? Issei couldn't help be drawn to the woman as another motherly figure. In doing so, his instincts to not worry her flared. "Don't worry, I'm bringing a very dear friend of mine to help me fight. Let's say that even I know when I'm at a loss."

Nodding to his words, Venelana could only hope and pray that the boy wouldn't die tonight and would come back healthy. What was it about this child that reminded her of her son? Was it the fighting spirit? Was it the kind heart that he had? Was it the youthful naivety and innocence? There was something about Issei that reminded her of Sirzechs.

Before long, Issei looked at Thor and the latter looked at the former. "Let's beat his ass."

Earning a smirk from the God, Thor nodded before they disappeared.
