Huntblade and Alch-deer happily welcomed Li Qiye back to the courtyard.

“I need to plant some flowers.” Li Qiye smiled at them before walking away with a garden hoe.

“...” The two became perplexed.

Nevertheless, Huntblade rushed over to carry the hoe for Li Qiye. Alch-deer transformed into his true self, offering his service as a mount.

Li Qiye smiled at jumped on his back, telling the deer his destination.

Once they made it to Silence Peak, Alch-deer and Huntblade stopped.

“Ancestor, are we heading to the immortal peak? I’m afraid we can’t get through Silence Peak.” Alch-deer said.

The dao suppression in the peak made it impossible for them to pass through. At the very least, the duo was not strong enough.

Silence Peak was the resting place of Silence Ancestor. Everything was denied entry due to her dao. The only thing here was one of the nine lakes, nothing else.

“Of course it is possible. This place will turn into a gorgeous garden soon.” Li Qiye smiled.

The two had no issue with his plan. Alas, they knew this was beyond their ability or anyone else currently in the sect. Doing so required bypassing the silence affinity found here.

“Go, bring some good seeds and trees here.” Li Qiye ordered.

“We understand.” The duo followed his order.

After a long while, Huntblade brought back a considerable number of trees and flowers. After all, a nine-fruit desolate god such as himself could carry mountains.

However, Li Qiye took a look and frowned: “What the hell are these things?”

Huntblade turned red and lost his confidence: “Ancestor, this is onyx steel bamboo, sixty thousand years of age. This is a fragmented golden flower that had blossomed 7,900 times. And this is a 130,000-year-old terra tree…”

“These are what you came up with?” Li Qiye stared at him.

He was speechless because these materials were immensely precious due to their alchemy potential. Alas, it seemed they were just wild vegetation in the ancestor’s eyes.

He has been cultivating beneath this tree, accelerating his attainment speed. However, he still chose to bring it here to Huntblade’s astonishment.

“This tree might not enter the ancestor’s eyes.” Alch-deer said, only adding to Huntblade’s embarrassment.

“Come, plant it here.” Li Qiye nodded after taking a look at the tree.

“Coming, Ancestor.” Alch-deer dug a large hole and planted it.

Meanwhile, Huntblade had returned to his grotto to fetch another tree. It had treasured fruits of different shapes and aromas - swords, pagodas, jade tablets…

One smelled like sweet oranges; another somehow smelled like meat. One emitted sea breezes…

“Your centennial fruit tree. Let me have one to purify my meridians.” Alch-deer salivated before reaching for a fruit.

After finishing the fruit, he gave a thumbs-up and said: “Going all out I see, offering your 300,000-year-old tree.”

Huntblade was embarrassed about being rejected by Li Qiye earlier while Alch-deer offered his best. Therefore, he offered his best tree despite having spent considerable effort to grow it.

“Ancestor, how is this tree?” Huntblade was nervous because he would lose all face if Li Qiye were to refuse.

“Right here.” Li Qiye stopped striking his hoe for a moment and pointed at the ground.

Huntblade heaved a sigh of relief and planted the tree. This would have been impossible but the silence power here allowed Li Qiye to plant.

“This is far from enough.” Li Qiye said: “Desolate Frontier is vast enough to have more divine trees and plants. Bring them all here.”

“Uh…” The duo exchanged glances again.

“Ancestor, I’m afraid they already have owners.” Alch-deer said.

“And? Must I go fetch the plants myself? Tell them to bring it here.” Li Qiye said.

“We will go.” The two obeyed again and left.

“What should we do? The others will not agree.” Huntblade felt a headache coming.

“That’s their problem, we just have to obey. If the ancestor wants some divine trees, they better bring them.” Alch-deer, on the other hand, was in a good mood.
