Chapter 86: Chapter 86 You're Going To Die
Unable to mobilize the Aura in the body, and only able to maintain a small amount of Aura attached to the surface of the body, how can one cope with what is about to happen in this state?
If he had known it would turn out like this, Law would never have directly absorbed the Nen of all the collections so recklessly.
But now that the matter is done, he can only think about how to overcome the difficulties.
The countdown timer ticked down second by second, but Law suspected that trying to use Ren could accelerate its pace.
Law checked the time, then calmed himself down and tried to Ren, just like his usual training. He concentrated on directing his Aura to flow out through his Aura Nodes, despite the apparent blockage.
Although there was no Aura flowing out and the Aura Nodes had not opened, Law did not stop. He persisted for about a minute before checking the countdown timer again.

'Sure enough, when I consciously control the amount of Aura in my body, the flow of time will speed up, about three times faster. I don't know if the flow rate can be increased further. If I can increase the speed further, I might cut the time down to half a month. But even if it can't accelerate further, it'll still only take a month.'
Law's panicked mood gradually calmed down. Although he found a way to make the 84-day countdown end faster, even half a month was an unbearably long time in the current situation.
'Also, how should I explain to Kenda? Should I just tell him that something went wrong during my training and that I can't use Ren for a month?'
The thought made Law sighed softly in his heart, 'Even I wouldn't believe such a flimsy excuse, but I really had no other excuse.'
"Law, what's wrong? Hey?"
Ellie waved her hand in front of Law, who is in deep thought, but the latter did not react at all.
"Law, what are you thinking about? Can't you hear me calling you?"
Seeing that Law was suddenly so focused on his thoughts that no amount of yelling could bring him back to his senses, Ellie stomped on his foot with all her might.
She thought she had used all her strength, but when Law was stepped on, he only felt a little pain. Even so, it was enough to snap him out of his thoughts.
"Sorry, I got lost in thought." Law looked at Ellie's puffed cheeks and said apologetically.
"What were you thinking about just now? You were so engrossed that you didn't even respond when I called you." Ellie asked in doubts.
Law scratched his head and casually lied, "I was wondering what to have for dinner tonight."
Hearing this, Ellie stared at Law with suspicion, but the latter remained calm.
After a while, Ellie relented, "We've seen the collections, so let's head back up."
"Yeah." Law nodded. His priority now was to update Kenda on his condition and find a way to adapt to his temporary limitations.
As they left the collection room, Law couldn't help but glance at the iron door on the left.
He had always been curious about what was inside the door on the left and why Ellie said she didn't like it and was unwilling to mention it.
From this, it can be seen that the things inside that door are even hated by Ellie.
After going up the stairs and returning to the ground, Ellie led Law on a tour of the huge mansion. She enthusiastically explained every place they went to, even the small room where cleaning tools were stored, saying that it was where she often hid as a child.
They visited nearly every part of the mansion, except for rooms like Barney's bedroom and study.
Finally, Ellie brought Law to her room. It was very big, but there was no decoration typically associated with a young girl. Instead, it was filled with books and antique-style furnishings.
Ellie sat on the chaise longue, bent her knees and hugged the pillow. Staring at a corner of the room, she said softly, "Law, stay and chat with me."
Law rubbed his forehead helplessly and replied, "Alright."
…
The corridor, which is made of both steel and pipes, was wide enough to accommodate ten people walking side by side. There are light bulbs hanging on the walls to provide ample light.
Though the corridor wasn't particularly long, halfway down toward the iron door at the end, there are more than a dozen corpses dressed in black.
A large amount of blood flowed out from under the corpse, filling the poorly ventilated corridor with a pungent smell of blood.
The iron door at the end of the corridor was open, and white light poured out from the door and shone on the nearby bodies.
The room inside the door is not big, only about 600 square meters. It is filled with many experimental equipment and quite a few desktop computers.
Kenda stood by the door with a gun in his right hand, looking coldly at a middle-aged man in white clothes and a white mask in the room.
On the ground next to this middle-aged man, there were four individuals similarly dressed in white lying on the ground. Judging from the blood flowing from their bodies, they had likely been shot dead.
"Kenda, how dare you?" The middle-aged man's eyes were filled with anger and fear.
Kenda kept his gun arm lowered instead of pointing it at the middle-aged man, as if he deemed the middle-aged man no threat.
In cold tone, Kenda said: "Barney is dead."
"What?" The middle-aged man's eyes widened in sheer disbelief, and the shock in them could be clearly seen.
"Why are you so surprised?" Kenda's tone carried a mixture of curiosity and contempt and his eyes are cold.
"I… I…" Cold sweat quietly seeped out of the middle-aged man's forehead and he was speechless for a while.
"Those who walk this path live with death constantly looming over them, so it would not be surprising if they suddenly died in the next second. That applies to me as well." Kenda slowly raised his arm and pointed the gun at the middle-aged man.
Faced with the ominous barrel, the middle-aged man recoiled, nearly collapsing in fear. He begged for mercy in a terrified tone: "Don't! Don't kill me! Look, look here."
The middle-aged man pointed at the equipment around him with shaking arms. His face twitched rapidly as he said in a trembling voice, "I can manufacture G1, and G2 is already in its final stages, it's just short of clinical trials."
"You know, G2 has fewer side effects. By then, the demand from all countries will definitely skyrocket. With G2, it's easy to amass wealth beyond imagination."
"Moreover, the production cost of G2 is lower. They're so low that we could buy countless refugees for practically nothing. Scaling up production won't be an issue at all."
"As long as you are willing..."
The middle-aged man slowly raised his hands, and the smile under the mask was almost distorted, not out of excitement, but out of fear when facing death.
"Then you will be my next boss. I'll follow your every command. If you want G3, or even G4... I can develop them all!"
Kenda's gaze remained expressionless as he stared at the man. After a while, he suddenly looked at a door in the room. It was an ominous gateway that seemed to lead straight to hell.
"There's something I think you should know." Kenda's eyes moved and fell on the middle-aged man again.
The middle-aged man's eyes darted nervously and he asked, "W-What is it?"
"You're going to die."
Before the middle-aged man could react, Kenda pulled the trigger.
With a slight 'swish' sound, the middle-aged man was shot in the forehead and his body suddenly fell backwards. He was death when he fell to the ground.
A faint white smoke came out of the silenced gun barrel. Kenda lowered his arm and walked quickly towards the ominous door. He stood in front of the door in silence for a while before slowly opening it.
…
An hour later.
Kenda still had a trace of killing intent on his body. He knocked on Law's door, then stood in front of the door and waited quietly.
At this time, Law had returned to his room. After hearing the knock on the door, he stopped training, walked to the door and opened it directly.
When he saw Kenda standing outside the door with a calm expression, Law's eyes narrowed instantly.
