Chapter 9: Chapter 6 Practice is truly perfect
Third person pov
Our mc began his new routine of meditating, basic exercises, basic martial arts, and studying. This routine lasted for 3 months during which he advanced his observation Haki to the fourth level. This was purely through his comprehension from combining the three techniques. He can only see one second into the future when he fully constrates. But when going all out with the eyes of god he can see 30 seconds into the future. Keep in mind the Observation Haki future site is the absolute future. So no matter what the targets of this technique does unless they have greater power and/or willpower(with just will power it has to be quadruple, and only batman, wonder woman, and constantine have that level of will power continuously.).
Yet with all of this compounded in just 4 days of this routine he finally advanced enough to use basic spells without straining himself.

'Finally, I can now start experimenting with the basic soul arrow. Plant control, and wood/water/earth shaping spells.' I thought. 'Each one has very different applications but I don't want to be locked into incantations so I will only start with the soul arrow spell for offence and practice control and mastery. But with the objects I craft with my shaping I can practice some basic arrays and puppetry. With puppetry I can get used to multitasking and using my shared vision of the eyes of God in everyday life. Of Course, I have to make array eyes that connect to the eyes of God in order for this part to work but that is why this change will be fun.'
With that I informed my housekeeper Korlin that I would be outside for the rest of the day and to only call me when it was lunch time. She looked on fondly at these comments and started staring off into space like how you would expect a person to do when flashbacking. It got awkward so I let myself out without disturbing her. On my way to a denser part of the forest on my island, one with a river close by, I thought about how much time I had left on my break. I was already a few grades ahead of normal people. Already in my entry year into high school but the death of this life's parent caused my Un awakened self to drop out for a year to adjust to their departure. So, I will be back in Gotham in roughly 7-8 months depending on the crime activity. Perfect for getting some defensive techniques and some surveillance puppets working.
I will not have to worry about acting, my Un awakened self's walking habits are already ingrained into me. Our speech patterns were practically identical. He liked calling trash pandas, racoons. Yeah, no I am going to do that. Hell, I might even feed a panda mythical Zoan to a raccoon just for kicks so that it becomes a normal thing. Which reminds me I should probably eat the jade-jade fruit for my 16th birthday. By then I should be fully integrated and practiced with the earth element to have quick mastery over it. Hell because of it I might be able to learn the crystal element. Another array material I would not have to look for myself.
Anway, I found a good spot to start a small hike away. "Welp, I might as well start with water." I then focused and aligned my will and mana with a small amount of the water to float up in a rough olive shaped bubble. I then started shaping it into various weapons ranging from swords and Glaves, spears and halberds, arrows and whips, even a scythe. "Okay so 100% affinity allows for quick manipulation mastery. Let's see about making animals." And the resulting attempt was somewhat depressing. Anything larger than a red panda(google says the largest mass known for males is 14lbs its 13lbs for females.) starts to be hollow too to the lacking quantity and quality of my mana. A dob the size of a labrador or a chocho is easier to do because most of their mass is like liquids. Finally, I tried seeing the largest I can make while being hard enough to sit on and it is a pony of roughly 300 pounds in terms of appearance. I returned it back to the river in the form of a water arrow barrage.
"Let's move on to earth before I take a break." and I once again started with making earth weapons. And overall, pretty similar except they are not as sharp and flexible, but they are more durable in terms of impact, blunt damage, and single attack blocking. Yet it suffered a similar problem with the water that after going larger than a red panda once again starts to be hollow, but it loses out even more in terms of durability and weight retention due to the lacking material. But it was easier to use and easier to do an attack spell that melded into the terrain after casting because when the mana disappeared, they looked like piles of soil and rock.
As a side note when using my metal affinity on my weapons, I conjured they got sharper and more durability without compromising their flexibility. Had no effect on conjured constructs based on animals other than better durability temporarily or sharper claws. Another thing I found out is that I can create a temporary array that fires a blade aura when used with metal affinity imbued mana.
"Finally, let's try the soul arrow!" and it was pretty quick, because unlike in dark souls I don't need a casting implement so long as I just want to test out the power. It was quite easy to conger my soul energy, not quite like roku from bleach but it could have similar properties if used right. With this I can actually harm spirits from a distance even before I learn Armament Haki!
And boy it was powerful, enough to pierce through a palm tree. I then fired the heavy soul arrow, and it had a similar result except, It disappeared into the water where it fizzled out after exceeding its mana it had stored. I then tried firing multiple, and I could barely fire three soul arrows at the same time if I pushed myself, yet I can prepare 6 at a time so long as I stagger their firing. This is not soul spheres but similar concepts except with the soul arrow spell. Though I feel I could cast 7 soul spheres at a time, keeping in mind that each cast summons six homing projectiles. But that is in theory not practice because I lack enough mana to cast it. I only harmed one palm tree so I could test out my wood affi- "YOUNG MASTER IT IS TIME FOR LUNCH!" said Korlin. With that It is time to wrap up and I start making my way to the enjoyable feast that is awaiting me.

Unbenounced to our mc there was a slight growth in the palm tree he pierced with the soul arrow spell. It was not much in the damaged area but in terms of height and vitality it was imbued with the potential to awaken as dryad earlier in life than most. But he won't see this development until later. And she will be his greatest follower. And maybe worshipers.
