After a hearty meal, Jiang Chen resumed training with Raditz. Though Raditz had only three days left before his mission, Jiang Chen had no intention of stopping. On the one hand, he himself needed to continue his own training; on the other hand, every bit of improvement Raditz could make would be useful, since the future was uncertain.
At this moment, in the very center of Planet Vegeta…
This was the core of the planet, where the Saiyan Royal Palace stood proudly.
However, deep within the Royal Palace, the throne that symbolized the highest power and strength of the Saiyans was not occupied by King Vegeta. Instead, it was a large, blue-gray-furred cat with deep skin and a muscular build, wearing a cold expression.
Beside the throne stood a figure with smooth white hair, a delicate face, and soft skin. This figure was holding a strange staff.
At this moment, King Vegeta was prostrated on the ground, not daring to move, with sweat pouring down his forehead.
Fear— unimaginable fear— was written all over his face, a terror far greater than when he had faced Frieza.
"Boom!"
In the next moment, King Vegeta felt his head sink as a foot was placed directly on it.
The foot even rubbed back and forth on the noble King Vegeta's head.
Yet, King Vegeta did not dare utter a sound.
He never imagined that the most powerful and mysterious being in the universe, the God of Destruction, would descend on Planet Vegeta.
As an ancient race, even though the Saiyans had once faced extinction, Vegeta knew full well how powerful the God of Destruction was.
Because of this, he did not dare show any disrespect.
However, it was clear that the God of Destruction, Beerus, was not pleased.
"King Vegeta, are you insulting me?"
"Do you know what I want?"
Beerus's voice was cold and menacing, his eyes flashing with destructive purple light.
"Lord Beerus, please spare me! I... I've already sent someone to find the best pillow in the multiverse for you. Please wait just a moment!"
"Three months… no, just one month!"
King Vegeta hurriedly spoke, his body trembling as fear spread uncontrollably.
At this moment, he could no longer feel any shame; all he could feel was boundless terror as if death was imminent. No, it wasn't just a feeling.
King Vegeta knew that if he failed to satisfy this God of Destruction, he would die in the next instant. He deeply regretted not handling this matter sooner.
"Do you think I'm an idiot?"
"Boom!"
The Royal Palace trembled as it collapsed.
King Vegeta's body was smashed into the stone walls, pinned within the cracks.
"Swish!"
Beerus appeared in an instant.
With a single movement, he grabbed King Vegeta by the head.
His eyes, filled with a murderous glint, locked onto King Vegeta.
The immense noise immediately alerted the guards.
"Thud, thud!"
The hurried footsteps of several Saiyan Elite Warriors could be heard as they rushed in.
However, before they could even get close, they suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"I ordered you to find the most comfortable pillow in the universe. I don't care how many people you killed for it, but you left the best pillow for yourself and gave me the second-best one."
"Do you want to die?"
The cold voice rang out, the destructive purple light growing more intense.
Beerus didn't even spare a glance at the fallen Saiyan Elite Warriors. His gaze remained fixed on King Vegeta.
"Stop!"
A voice suddenly called out.
At the entrance, a figure appeared and rushed forward.
However,
"Boom!"
The figure that had just rushed out was instantly slammed into the ground. The overwhelming pressure pinned his body to the earth, unable to move a muscle.
Vegeta's pupils were filled with terror. He had never imagined someone could be so powerful.
The feeling came from the deepest part of his soul, a shuddering sense of dread.
"King Vegeta, the king of the Saiyans, is truly pathetic. Not even a little kid has the courage," Beerus mocked.
"Whis, I'm tired!"
Beerus waved his hand lightly, and in the next moment, King Vegeta's body was thrown away as his voice followed.
"Alright, Lord Beerus!"
Whis responded with a smile, and in the next instant, his staff tapped gently.
A soft light surrounded Beerus and Whis, and their figures transformed into a flowing light, shooting up into the sky.
They soon vanished from Planet Vegeta.
In space…
A flowing light enveloped Beerus and Whis.
"Lord Beerus, our next stop is Planet Tartarus. It will take about the time of one animation episode. You can rest for a bit."
Whis's gentle voice echoed.
"That long?"
"Oh, by the way, isn't Frieza nearby? Let's stop by and see how he's doing with his mission."
Beerus yawned, seeming to think of something, and spoke up.
"Yes, it will only take about three minutes to reach." Whis responded with a smile.
The next moment, the flowing light shot off into the depths of the universe.
Meanwhile, back on Planet Vegeta, about an hour after Beerus had disappeared, people began to notice the commotion within the Royal Palace.
Chaos immediately erupted within the Royal Palace.
Many Saiyan warriors rushed in to investigate.
But as they entered the Royal Palace, a tremendous explosion rang out.
Following the explosion, information began to spread.
The Tuffles had teamed up with aliens to launch a surprise attack on the Royal Palace, attempting to assassinate King Vegeta. The attack caused unrest in the kingdom, and three elite Saiyan squads were wiped out.
Fortunately, King Vegeta acted swiftly and dealt with the destructive Tuffles.
When this news broke, the entire Planet Vegeta was shaken.
A large number of Saiyans were deployed to investigate the surroundings.
Soon, several of the alien collaborators working with the Tuffles were killed.
"King Vegeta was attacked by the Tuffles?"
The next day, on the plains, hearing Raditz's account, Jiang Chen's expression turned odd.
"Yes, apparently today, the Pabujin Squad destroyed an alien squad that had infiltrated."
"Unfortunately, they couldn't capture any of the Tuffles. Those guys are like rats hiding in the sewers."
Raditz nodded and spoke with a fierce tone.
The Saiyans had a natural enmity towards the Tuffles, and Raditz was no exception.
Especially in recent years, it seemed that the Tuffles had caused quite a lot of "trouble," which made this even more so.
As for Planet Vegeta originally being Planet Plant, the Saiyans didn't care about that.
"Tuffles!"
"Royal Palace!"
Jiang Chen didn't pay attention to Raditz's words but frowned deeply.
In his mind, the scene of his first login flashed before him.
The same Tuffles, the same explanation.
The images were almost identical.
