"I expected more than this from you." Reko muttered as he threw more than dozen shurikens in an instant towards the injured enemy. He did not want to delay and give enemy the chance to prepare for ninjutsu.

The old man, hurt in the forearms could not make hand signs. Not to mention that during the battle, he was holding kunai with his hands which made it impossible for him to make handsigns and perform ninjutsu.

He managed to dodge more than half of the shurikens thrown at him, but the remaining amount were enough to end him. He was laid on the ground with anger on his face as he slipped away into the afterlife.

'I wanted to help but they were so close in the battle that I did not attack.' Sayako thought as she realised that she had kept waiting for the opening this whole time but couldn't find any.

Also, the battle between Reko and the rogue shinobi was intense. The enemy showed experience and amazing reflexes which made her think that it would be better to keep her presence hidden for the final decisive blow.

"Nothing on him!!" Reko had waited for a few seconds before moving to check the enemy's body. He was wary just in case, if the enemy had left him a surprise like paper bombs.

The enemy was really poor and did not possess anything except for the ninja tools on him.

"We have completed the mission!!" Sayako happily commented as she began collect the bodies in the storage scroll.

'What if I use the charge on a higher ranked Jutsu than a Chunin. Chunins are known to be able to perform rank B and C jutsu. Doesn't that mean I have chances of learning higher ranking jutsu too??' Since it was obviously stated that learn a Chunin rank jutsu in a glance then what was the category of the jutsu he could learn?

A Chunin normally knew both B and C rank jutsu. A few of the important characters were even capable of using higher level ninjutsu.

Would he be able to learn them all? Obviously not!

"You were amazing in the hand to hand combat Reko. You defeated him on your own." Sayako praised Reko after collecting the bodies of the rogue shinobi husband and wife in the storage scroll.

"You were good too! If not for the lethal strike on Miyu then we would have been against both of them." Reko got out of his thoughts and replied to Sayako with a smile.

"So, we are done with it now. Free!" Sayako said as she looked around. There mission was completed and they were free.

"You want to head back to the village now?" Reko asked as he realised that the mission was indeed over, and they did not have to stay here anymore. He could experiment with his kekkei genkai back at home.

"Are you tired from the battle? You can rest." Sayako suggested as she looked at Reko's body carefully, implying something.

"Why don't we look around for spoils of the battle in the houses?" Reko made a comment. He was disappointed from the lack of items in the enemy's possession. He wished to search the houses thoroughly before leaving.

'Wait!! Why is she insisting on resting?? Yeah rest!! Right, how could I forget?' Reko realised what Sayako was implying after he saw disappointment in her eyes.

"And then we can rest...." He instantly added. After he was done searching for the rewards, he would go and rest thoroughly.

No! He didn't even want to search for rewards from these weak ass disappointing shinobis. He directly wanted to get on with resting, together with Sayako.

"Yes! We should rest before heading back to the village." Sayako agreed with a smile.
