Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

At this moment, Black Zetsu emerged from the ground and approached Tsunade.

"Tsunade-sama, Reiki asked me to deliver a message," Black Zetsu began. "He won't be able to return for the time being, but he has successfully taken the evil god away. For now, the energy in everyone's bodies should be suppressed, so you should speed up treating the injured. However… he warned that we should be prepared for something bad that might happen later."

"Bad things?" Tsunade repeated, her voice rising. "What do you mean by that? Where is Reiki now?"

At first, Tsunade processed Black Zetsu's words calmly, but as soon as she heard the warning, her expression changed drastically. It was uncharacteristic for someone like Reiki—who always seemed to prioritize self-preservation—to leave behind such ominous words. A growing unease stirred within her.

"I don't know," Black Zetsu replied. "He threw me out before I could ask further. I still need to report to my mother, so..."

Without waiting for more questions, Black Zetsu bowed and sank back into the ground.

As he disappeared, Tsunade swayed slightly, her legs almost giving out. Orochimaru, standing nearby, reached out to steady her.

"Tsunade, you're pushing yourself too hard," Orochimaru said in a rare tone of concern. "Take a moment to rest. That boy Reiki… you know him better than I do. He's not someone who takes risks without a plan."

Orochimaru's words seemed logical. Looking back, every bold move Reiki had made—whether challenging Danzo, organizing specialized ninja training, or even forming the Ninja Alliance—had been calculated and carefully executed. He was not reckless.

"Don't lose hope because there's no news yet," Orochimaru continued. "Besides, Tsunade, do you really want Reiki to return only to see you in this state? Focus on your work for now."

At that moment, Jiraiya arrived, still in Sage Mode. He exuded a confident air, as though he had achieved a great feat.

"Looks like you've mastered Sage Mode," Orochimaru remarked, glancing at him.

"That's right!" Jiraiya said smugly. "Orochimaru, on the other hand, hasn't finished yet. If someone deserves a beating—"

Boom!

Before Jiraiya could finish, Tsunade delivered a punishing blow that sent him flying.

Orochimaru wisely stepped further away. While he enjoyed watching Jiraiya get pummeled, he had no intention of becoming collateral damage.

"Tsunade, what was that for?!" Jiraiya shouted from the ground. "Orochimaru's the one slacking off! Beat him up instead!"

"No, no, no! I was wrong!" Jiraiya cried out as Tsunade continued to rain punches on him. "Tell me what I did wrong, and I'll fix it! Help me!"

His pleas echoed across the area, but no one intervened—not even Namikaze Minato, who raised his hand briefly before thinking better of it. He had just heard Black Zetsu's report and decided it was safer not to provoke Tsunade.

Teacher, please endure this… Minato thought, suppressing a sigh.

After nearly half an hour, Tsunade finally stopped. Jiraiya's cries had gone silent, not because he was dead, but because Tsunade herself was exhausted.

"Get up. I know you're not seriously hurt," she said, kicking him lightly.

"Ah… well, Tsunade, if you'd kept going, I really might not have gotten up again," Jiraiya replied sheepishly, brushing dust off his clothes. His Sage Mode had deactivated by now, and he couldn't help but feel like his newfound resilience had made him an even better punching bag.

Orochimaru observed with a faint smirk, knowing Jiraiya was spot on. Tsunade had simply needed a sandbag to vent her frustration, and Jiraiya's Sage Mode made him the perfect candidate.

"What's the current situation?" Jiraiya asked, looking around at the gathered ninja from different villages. Despite the chaos, their spirits seemed high.

Orochimaru gave him a brief rundown of recent events, including Reiki's plan and the status of the ninja.

"Alright, I'm heading back to treat the others," Tsunade announced. "Orochimaru, don't just stand around. Before Reiki returns, I want everyone here treated."

Thanks to the ninjas' growing ability to suppress the corrupted natural energy within themselves, the atmosphere was no longer as tense. With additional help from Black Zetsu's clones, the healing process began to pick up speed.

Meanwhile, in Kaguya's Realm:

Black Zetsu appeared before Kaguya Otsutsuki, who stood in a tranquil field, absentmindedly twirling a blade of grass.

"Is this the message that boy asked you to deliver?" Kaguya asked, her tone calm and unreadable.

"Yes, Mother. He asked for your assistance," Black Zetsu replied.

"Do you think I should comply with his request?" Kaguya asked, her expression betraying no emotion.

"I believe so," Black Zetsu answered without hesitation.

Kaguya raised an eyebrow. "So confident, are you? But tell me, what if I choose instead to awaken the sacred tree now? To spread its power across the ninja world? To open the door to other worlds and invite the Otsutsuki clan here? Imagine what they'd think if I told them that Ishiki was killed by ninjas… and that Handai betrayed us, even having a child with a ninja. Do you think they'd believe me?"

As she spoke, a seed of chakra from the sacred tree materialized in her hand, glowing faintly.

"Mother," Black Zetsu said earnestly, "I still think it's best to trust Reiki. He has mastered the Ten-Tails and Ishiki's world. More importantly… do you really want to return to that kind of life? The life you had before?"

Kaguya fell silent, gazing at the chakra seed. Black Zetsu pressed on.

"Reiki is strong and talented. He's not even 11 years old, yet he's accomplished so much. If given time to grow, surpassing the Otsutsuki clan is inevitable. Mother, with his help, you could finally achieve true freedom."

The grass in Kaguya's hand fluttered away in the wind as she considered his words. For now, her thoughts remained a mystery.

What decision will Kaguya make? And can the ninja alliance hold out until Reiki's return? The threads of fate grow ever tighter.
