Our Multiverse Adventure as Gokaigers

The next day, the morning sunlight shine through the window and fell upon our sleeping princess. Her beautiful eyelashes flutter open as gracefully as a sawn taking flight.

"Mhm..." *Yawn*

(What time is it...) 

Our butterfly stretches her slender arms and legs as she gets up from bed.

"Well, yesterday was something to say the least. I didn't mind it that much, but we shouldn't stay up that late regularly. It's not good for the body."

 Her eyes swept the room and saw a neatly folded futon in the corner. Last night's table remains and ropes were also cleaned up. 

"Hmm, Ren's already awake. I must've been really tired."

Shinobu got dressed into her Uniform and Haori. She checked her poison stock and katana as usual before heading downstairs.

She then saw one of the employees coming out of a room carrying two futons.

"Excuse me, have you seen the Demon Slayer that came with me?"

"Ah, yes. He's in the kitchen, Hashira-sama."

Shinobu nodded, then headed into the kitchen.

*Slide*

Shinobu open the door and saw Ren crouching while fanning a small charcoal stove.

"Ara? Ren, what might you be doing here?" She crouches down beside him

"I'm trying to light up this stove so I can cook you your breakfast. It's my apology meal, remember?"

"Then shouldn't I eat this after the mission? After all, I wouldn't want to have a stomachache during a battle."

"Oho, are you suggesting something with that comment, Shinobu?" Ren's eyes turn unusually sharp.

"I don't know, am I?" Shinobu tilts her head.

"Why you little!"

Ren grab Shinobu by the wrist and threw her up into the air.

"Hehehehe~"

"Hahahaha~"

"Oi, take your flirting elsewhere! People are trying to work you know! Be considerate of others!"

Suddenly, a loud and rude voice with no tact interrupted, ruining the atmosphere.

*Shing*

"Should we kill him?"

"No, too many witnesses."

"Shinobu and I took our hands off our katanas and stared at the loudmouth.

"Huh? What are you looking at? Is there something on my fa-"

"Oho, I get it." He suddenly exclaimed, his fist hitting his open palm.

"My flashiness is so overwhelming that you can't help but be drawn to my presence. Well, feel free to look as much as you want." He posed with his eyes closed and index finger to his metal headband. On his face, a smug grin that could irritate even most saints.

(Kuh, I want to punch his smug face so bad!)

(Hold yourself back, Shinobu. You can't stab him...you're used to this. Hold it in...)

"Uzui-san, don't you have anywhere else to be? Anywhere that's not here? Like right now?"

"Nope!" He replied with a puff of his chest.

"I don't have anything planned until that girl report back to me."

"I see." Shinobu turned to Ren.

"At times like this, it's best to ignore him. He usually gets bored around an hour or two."

"Usually?"

"*Nod* The longest record was ten hours. I almost gave in that day...so close...should've finished him..."

Shinn

Thud

"Wow there!" Ren caught Shinobu's hand that were on the hilt of her swords. "Control yourself." Ren noticed from her grip that words weren't getting through.

(Seriously Uzui-san, just what did you do? I have no choice...)

After a while, using one of Ren's secrete method, he managed to calm down Shinobu. Then they had breakfast that Ren made and found a way to pass the time.

"Uno." Shinobu threw down her last red card and won the game.

"Damn it! How are you so good?"

"Because you're showing your facial expression on your face, idiot." Uzui-san, who somehow joined our games, commented from the side.

"At least I won some rounds...unlike a certain someone...*keshi keshi*" I mock snicker to the side.

"Hey! I would've won if you two weren't secretly teaming up!"

"Ara, what are you talking about Uzui-san? You shouldn't accuse people randomly just because you can't win. That's not a very Hashira like thing to do, is it?"

"Agreed." Ren nodded.

"You shut it! And you, I'll win the next game. You'll see. I'm just setting up my flashy flamboyant win that'll make your jaws drop." Ren tune out Tengen and turn to Shinobu.

 "By the way, isn't Aoi taking a long time? The morning is almost over already."

"Yeah, and she can't be busy either. Morning should be the best time to sneak out by pretending to go on an errand."

"Should we check on her? Just in case?"

"Why not, it's better than just sitting here playing uno. I'm getting sick of winning anyway."

We threw down our cards and got up, ready to leave. Then I remembered something.

"Oh, but what will we do about lunch?"

"Let's make Aoi cook when we come back."

"Fine by me." I turn to look at the only one in the room who hasn't got pass Uno yet.

"Are you coming, Uzui-san?"

He stared at his cards then at the blue card on the floor.

"...Can't be help. Very well, this Hashira will accompany you! Be grateful!" He threw the card to the air and did a backflip to get up.

"..." We stared at him for a moment, speechless at his shamelessness, before jumping out the window.

Whoosh Swoosh Whoosh

We jump across rooftop to rooftop, quickly nearing the Kyogoku house. Uzui who slowed down his usual pace for us raised an eyebrow at Shinobu.

"Hmm? Kocho, have you gotten stronger?" Uzui asked as we ran side by side.

"I don't think so. Maybe it's just your imagination Uzui-san."

"No, you have. I didn't notice it before, but the sound of your footsteps has become completely different."

"Really? But I don't think I've done anything different from before."

As we approached, my sense of hearing heard a commotion happening inside the house.

Swoosh Thud Thud

I wave an arm out, stopping both Shinobu and Tengen as I close my eyes, focusing on the noise.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, you shitty rotten kid. Don't you know manners?!"

"I won't let you harm them!"

"Huh? How does that concern you?"

I focus more on my hearing to find out the details what's happening when-

*Thump-Thump* *Thump-Thump*

A familiar heartbeat and a heartbeat unlike anyone Ren have ever heard.

"Sigh. Seriously?"

I ran a hand through my hair.

"We leave her alone for one more day and of course she just had to meet Daki now." 

(But this also give us a perfect opportunity. She's distracted and there's daylight. The only way she could escape is underground.) I turn back to Tengen.

"Uzui-san, I'm sure you can tell that the girl arguing with Aoi is a demon. For Aoi and the rest of the people in the building's safety, please attack her while we protect the civilians."

"Ho. So, you noticed it too? Not bad. But-" He glanced at Ren.

"Are you sure you can handle it? There are better ways."

"I know. But do you think a demon like that will care about human life? Just the demon being in the building already endangers everyone in that house."

"With just me and Shinobu, I wouldn't try this but with you here, we can both protect the girls and eliminate the demon. You can do that right? After all, you're supposed to be a Hashira. One of the strongest in the Demon Slayer corps." I finished with a grin trying to lighten the mood.

Tengen look at me for a moment before he flicks his wrist. His face donning a grin like my own.

"...Hump, of course I can. A demon like that is nothing compared to the flashy awesome me."

"Great, then as a Hashira, I'll leave the role of beheading the demon onto you, Uzui-san." I try to imitate him and replied with a pose of my own.

*Irritated*

"Just wait a minute! Who are you to tell me what to do?! I'm your superior, ya know!"

"I see..." I nodded as if I'm pondering his statement. Then my expression brightens up as hit my palm with my fist.

"I got it! *Nod* *Nod* We can decide that way."

"All in favor with my plan, raise your hand."

Shinobu and I raised our hands.

"Let's see, Let's see." I pretended to count the hands. "Hmm...It's one Hashira plus one against only one Hashira. You lose by two against one, Uzui-san."

"Too bad, Uzui-san. Better luck next time." Shinobu chimed in.

"Damn it! I seriously want to punch you two!"

"The feeling is mutual. Now then, shall we?" I pull out my katana as does Shinobu.

"Shinobu, you enter from that left wall. I'll break in from the right and distract her. You protect Aoi and the civilians. Uzui-san, leave the civilians to us."

"Roger." Shinobu nodded and went into position.

"On the count of three, we attack."

"Got it." Tengen unwrapped his blades and pulled them out.

Whoosh~ swoosh~ woosh~ Ting!

He spun his blades around like nun chucks, warming himself up.

"Heh, I'll kill this demon in such a flashy way that you'll be begging me on your knees to become my lacky."

"Umu. Give it your best, Uzui-san." I smiled seeing a small vein popping on his forehead. Satisfied that I'm irritating him. 

I focus back on the noise, memorized the position of everyone in the building. I then bend my knees, preparing to jump. Inside, sounds of arguments were getting more heated.

Ren: "One"

"You! As a human being, how could you treat someone like that!"

"So what? I'm this house's Oiran. Compared to my beauty and value, those works are worthless trash."

Ren: ''Two"

The sound of fists clenching was loud enough for Ren to hear.

"What with that look? It looks like you need me to teach you how things work around here." The sound of a fist raising reached Ren's ear.

Ren: "Three!"

Fuuuuuuuu

*Whoosh* x3

All three of us jump toward the building as we unleash our moves.

The explosions of the wall rang out as we crash into the building.

"What!"

I saw Daki's surprise expression through the smoke as a stack of Obi came out of her back, protection her from sunlight.

Uzui: (You're finished!)

Shing~

Tengen's blade slice through the air into flesh but it only managed to cut half off Daki's neck as the Obi behind her pull her into the room beside.

"Tch."

Shing! Shing! Boom!

Tengen quickly cut down the door as he rushes in to follows Daki in. As Tengen follow Daki into the room, Shinobu and I grab the girls and jumped back to a safe distance.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Sounds of explosion rang through the house like fireworks on a summer festival. I quickly made sure Aoi, and the other girls were unharmed. It seems that their bodies were fine, just unconscious from the shock.

The chaotic sounds of Uzui chasing after Daki echo in the building. It was getting further away into...an underground tunnel?

(She could be going back to the nest! I can't allow that!) I quickly made up my mind.

"Shinobu! Stay here in case the demon come back! I'll come back after freeing the captives!"

"Roger!"

I quickly jump out of the building as I transform.

(I have to get back to the nest before Daki gets there!)

"Gokai Change!"

GoBusters

"Red Buster."

As soon as my feet touched the ground, I ran to the location provided by Shinobu. With Red Buster's speed, I arrived in less than a minute.

(I can't bust down the ground. The Obi might get ripped by falling stone and such. I only know that the captured women are freed after cutting their figure out. I can't be sure what'll happen if the figure in the obi gets cut in two.)

I jump up into the air.

"Gokai Change!"

Zyuohger

*Splash*

I dive down as fast as I could. I reach the hole and fall down as I Gokai Change again.

Kakuranger

"NinjaRed Ren!"

"Kakure-ryu: Cloning Technique!"

Clones of Ren appear one after another until there were more than 10 of him.

"Thunder Breathing: First form." Their sound echo in the cave as they simultaneously drew their Kakuremaru and kick against the air.

"Thunderclap and Flash: Two Folds!!" The sound of thunder strikes rang out in the cave as more than ten Ren with the strength enchantment of NinjaRed, cut through the obi containing the captured women.

*Thud*

We landed on the ground. We look around to see any hidden demon or Daki, but we couldn't see any suspicious movements nor sounds coming here.

"Split up. Seven of us will gather the captives. The rest will stand guard. Go and hurry!"

My clones nodded and turned into red blurs as they collect the unconscious women from the cave into one spot. My other clones stand guard in front the air hole in case Daki came in the middle of our rescue.

While my clones were doing their tasks, I look through the skulls and dead remains of the people who got devour before we got here in search of anything hidden.

(So many skulls…These people also must have had a home, a family, friends, somewhere or some place that they belonged.) I grit my teeth and clench my fists.

"Demons…I'll kill them all." I didn't know back then but the spirit of NinjaRed was watching me at the moment.

I survey the area before returning back to the pile of women that my clones have gathered.

"Good work."

The clones nodded and made a hand signal as we fused back into one.

"Now, for the cleanup. Gokai Change."

Magiranger

"The Roaring Earth Element! The Green magician!"

"MagiGreen!"

"This is the maximum power I can muster for now as Magigreen."

I open up my MagiPhone.

"Heavenly Saint Groungel, please lend me your power so that I can give these poor souls a proper burial." Ren raise up the MagiPhone spoke with his heart.

A voice range in his head.

(I've heard your request and shall answer to your courage!)

The number on MagiPhone lit up. 8-2-7

"Jii Jiruma Majika!" The tip of the MagiPhone lit up and I could feel the earth element coursing through me. Each person's bones floated and reconstructed before the ground split up to form graves. Then the ground close up, forming many tombs.

After the process, I clap my hands and bow to the newly formed tombs.

(I'm sorry I couldn't make your graves on the surface. Rest in peace.)

"I'll avenge you all." I turn around and press my buckle for a Ranger Key. Then suddenly, a chill went up my spin.

"Thank you." It was a mix voice of multiple women coming from behind me.

"…Don't mention it. I just did it on a whim."

I slightly turn around and saw traces multiple silhouettes of on top of the graves as they disappear.

(I buried them and now, I have to make sure they can be disturbed, and I also have to seal up the tunnels that Daki uses to travel around.)

(Sigh, a responsible Demon Slayer's work is never done, huh.)

"It seems I'll have to trouble you once more, Heavenly Saint."

"Jiruma Jinga Jii Majuna!"

Ting! ~

A green light shined over the tunnels before plants started growing rapidly inside them.

"There. This should close up all the holes and create a magical plant enclosed barrier around this nest."

"This won't close all the tunnels but after dealing with Daki, nobody except maybe mice can use them." 

I then focus my attention back to the pile of captured women in front of me.

(Now, how do I transport all of them back to the inn in one go?)

"Hmm, I could use the Tensou Techniques: Windrive but it can only carry one other person. In the case, my choice is obviously…" I take out the Ranger Key of my choice.

"Gokai Change."

"Fuuchou Kyutama: Seiza Attack!" A pink energy bird came out of the Kyutama and surround us in a vortex before we disappear from the underground pit.

"Moshi Moshi. Ren, all done?"

"Yeah. I've put all the captured civilians I rescued inside the inn where we're staying. I also called some Kakushi to take care of them."

"Wow, that was fast."

"That's because I didn't have to fight anything. How's the situation over there?"

"Everyone's pretty shaken and the police are here because of the explosion. I've searched the demon's room. Nothing important is here. It's like she has already prepared to leave here."

"Hmm…Are you sure?"

"Yeah. My experience with demons is telling me. Usually, once a demon finds a good place to stay and hunt, they rarely leave the place on their own."

"But there's the underground pit. Couldn't it be that she carries out her demon activities in the human pit?"

"Maybe. But do you think that an arrogant Demon like it will trouble itself to hide that deeply?"

"No. But we've already entered unknown territory from the plot. Let's proceed with caution."

"Right. So, what do we do now?"

"We need to regroup. Is Aoi with you?"

"Yeah. She's passed out but right beside me."

"Bring Aoi and something that Daki might've used regularly from her room."

"And what are you going to do with that, Ren?" Ren could hear the dangerous undertone in Shinobu's voice.

"Nothing that you're thinking off, pervy-chan."

"I'm not pervy, mou~!"

"Khuahahaha~"

"Ahem, I'll back soon."

"Here." Shinobu handed me a brush.

"How are you going to use this to track it, Ren?"

"You see Shinobu-chan, the art of tracking has been used by many since ancient times. It takes dedication, hard work and year of experience." Ren says looking serious.

"I see." Shinobu nodded along.

"That's why, …we're going to use Ranger Keys instead."

Shinobu comedically fell down.

"Say that from the start, Ren."

"Ahaha, Sorry, Sorry. I couldn't resist. I don't know what's wrong with me today. I'm feeling really cheerful."

(Author note: That's because I'm in a good mood. Be grateful you swine.)

Ren's eyes twitched and fist clenched.

"I suddenly feel like I want to hit something."

"Ara Ara. Maybe later Ren. We're still on a mission after all." Shinobu says sounding seductive.

Ren deadpan stare at her.

"Perv."

"You know it. *chu*" Shinobu blow Ren a kiss.

"…*Sigh* It's not fun when you don't get flustered." Ren crosses his arms and shakes his head.

Shinobu simply smile at Ren's remark.

(Ufufufu, I know.)

"Anyway, let's finish off Upper six quickly and relax for a few months. This is getting a bit tedious for my taste."

"Sounds good to me."

"Gokai Change!" x2

I then press the buckle and took out the Ranger Key that'll help us track down Daki.

"Zyuoh Elephant key?"

"Yeah, Zyuoh Elephant has a really great sense of smell. It can detec…"

(Smell…smell…Smell!) Alarm bells suddenly rang in Shinobu's head.

"Ren."

"Give it." Shinobu out stretch her hands and by the tone of her voice, it wasn't a request.

"Are you sure? According to my knowledge, it's quite powerful and in a place like this you sense of smell would be-" Shinobu cut Ren off.

"I'm sure." Shinobu gesture Ren to give her the Zyuoh Elephant Ranger Key.

"Alright. Don't say I didn't warn you."

Shinobu quickly transformed, not wanting Ren to ask it back.

"Gokai Change."

Zyuohger

"Zyuoh Elephant."

"Let's get this over with quick." Shinobu took the brush from Ren's hand.

*Sniff**Sniff* *Sniff**Sniff*

Suddenly, different kinds of smells hit Shinobu's nose. She immediately covers her front helmet, fell and roll over and over on the floor, silent screaming.

"MMMMMMMMM!!!!"

"*Sigh* This is why I warned you."

"In a place like this, in the evening when business hours begin, is probably one of the worst palaces to have a great sense of smell. And Tusk's sense of smell is way strong than Tanjiro. (probably)"

"Kugh, T-this is nothing." Shinobu slowly stood up, her legs shaking as if she'll fall down at any moment.

*Sniff* "Kugh!"

(I want to cut off my nose!)

(Endure it! Endure it! Those Demons are so dead!)

*Swoosh*

Ren pick up Shinobu in a princess carry.

"I'll be your legs. You tell me where to go. This'll be faster."

"*Nod*

We follow the trail of scent that Shinobu picked up from the brush. It led us to the outskirts of the red-light district.

"Stop, we're here." Shinobu quickly change back into Gokai Pink.

"I'm never using that Ranger Key again. Ugh. How did Tusk-san lived like this?"

"Probably through practice. He was born with it after all."

"That was a rhetorical question, Ren." Shinobu slightly glared at me in resentment before looking back at the mansion.

"So, what's the plan? Sneaky or do we storm in and finish this quick."

"Wait a sec." Ren took out a Ranger Key.

"Gokai Change."

Megaranger

"Mega Black." Ren tap the side of the helmet.

"Infrared Scan."

Whoosh Beep Beep Beep...

"There are 5 heat signatures in that house. Shinobu, do demons have body heat?"

"As long as the demon doesn't have any ice or water Blood Demon Art, it should have body heat."

"Well then, why we bring them a surprise." I show her a Ranger Key.

"Sure." 

"By the way, this is a trap, right?"

"Oh, one hundred percent. Why?"

 "Just making sure."

"Gokai Change"x2

Kakuranger

"NinjaRed Ren."

"NinjaWhite Shinobu."

"Let's go. Our priority is Upper six's neck."

*Nod*

*Whoosh* *Whoosh* *Whoosh*

We turn into red and white blurs as we jump into a demon's lair, prepared to face anything that comes our way.
