Pokemon - A real story

'Assurance' was a dark type move and was supper effective against Gengar and a good thing about this move was that the power of the move would rapidly increase if the target was hit just before by the user.

The fist was very heavy for Gengar as it flew and crashed to the ground. Primeape had started to huff and puff by taking all those hits. Gengar was also injured now.

"Woh!!! The battle had completely turned now. At first, it looked like Gengar was on the lead and now I cannot say who is going to win.", said the commentator.

The crowd was also surprised by the sudden turn of events.

" 'Rest'", said Axel and Primeape slept to recover its injuries. This was another surprising move by Axel.

There might be a very big chance that Gengar knew the moves like 'Nightmare' and 'Dream eater' and this move used by Primeape might actually turn into nightmare.

Norty gave a soft smile.

'He is still a young trainer and has a lot to learn.', he thought.

If there was an experienced trainer then he would not used such a rookie move.

Gengar was injured but that didn't mean that it could not fight anymore. The increase in attack by 'Berserker hollow' and 'Bulk up' had crazily increased its attack power but Gengar was also a very bulky Pokemon.

It took its time to stand up as it knew that the effect of moves like 'Nightmare' and 'Dream eater' would be more effective if the target was in a deep sleep. It also needed to take some rest after receiving the attack.

Primeape was rapidly healing its injuries and its health points were increasing in a fast pace. As the level of 'Rest' had increased to level 40 and its healing speed had increased, Primeape was rapidly healing.

Gengar took around 15 seconds to use the move 'Dream eater'. It slowly moved towards Primeape and now it was just a few inches next to it but just before that, Axel said, "Get up and then use 'Thunder punch'.

Primeape immediately opened its eyes and the used 'Thunder punch' also used the move 'Assurance' to hurt it even more.

The move was so fast and surprising that none of them had time to even react.

Primeape followed it with a powerful 'Earthquake' and then used the move 'Thunder' towards Gengar.

After couple of more attacks, Gengar fainted and could not move anymore.

"Gengar had lost the battle. Primeape wins. Gym leader is requested to send out this next Pokemon.", said the referee with a surprised look.

No one could tell how could Primeape wake up at that exact moment. That was just unreal.

Of course, Primeape had the ability 'Vital spirit' and the mastery of it would let it have a mastery over sleep. But how would anyone imagine that an elemental rank Pokemon could master its ability so fast.

The momentum of Primeape was very oppressive and after Primeape started to deliver punches, Gengar could not counter it. Of course, it was also already injured too.

"Axel, you are full of surprises.", said Norty with a sort laugh. He didn't know how Primeape was able to do it but he could make a guess.

"Come out, Mismagius", said Norty and called out another Pokemon.

It was a purple ghost type Pokemon. It had a round head with elaborate tufts resembling a witch's hat atop it. The tips of the tufts were paler than most of the body. It had a thin, red mouth that resembles the letter "W." Below its head, it had a short, thorax-like lump from which its body connects. Three elliptical red spheres surrounded the upper portion of its body. There were extensions on the sides of its lower body with the foremost ones tattered compared to rear ones.

This was Mismagius and it was a very interesting Pokemon. The further evolution of Misdreavus had just been discovered with the usage of dusk stone.

"And we now have Mismagius. This is fairly a new Pokemon and we don't know what it is capable. But we can tell that it is very powerful that is pre evolved form.

Let's see if Primeape can win against it too.", said the commentator.

The crowd was curious about this battle. No one had thought that Axel could win the first fight. They started to realize that Axel was a real deal.

Axel looked at the status page of this Pokemon.

Unlike Gengar before, this Pokemon was interesting. First of all, it was 2 years older than Gengar. Second, its stats were a bit higher than Gengar except for its health. Gengar was known to be a bulky Pokemon.

And finally, it knew 2 new moves. It was very hard to learn 2 new moves for a Pokemon when it was in elemental rank. It was raised very well. It's potential was also higher than Gengar.

He proceeded to look at the move description of those 2 moves. They sounded very intimidating.

Dream World: With a sudden cry from the user, the enemy will enter in a dream world filled with every negative things that they had experienced before for 10 seconds. Can only use this 1 time and has a cooldown for 24 hours.

The Pokemon with higher mind resistance can counter it.

Shadow connect: Can connect everything related to shadow.

They not only looked intimidating, they were intimidating. If it was used in a good way, then Mismagius could become an ultra powerful enemy. But as of right now, it was only an elemental rank Pokemon.

"The gym leader had used Mismagius. He had never used this Pokemon before. This shows how challenging Axel really is."

The commentator went on and on.

"Are you both ready for the battle?", asked the referee.

"Yes, I am" X2

"Then let the battle begin."

"Use 'Calm mind'"

"Gary, finish it with 'Beat up'"

When Axel said to use the move, Norty was already ready for it. Suddenly, a Pokemon came into view. This Pokemon was levitating in the air. The Pokemon was yellow in color and had 2 spoons in each had. It had a long mustache.

Just when this Pokemon came into view, Norty could not tell what was happening. The whole crowd could not tell what was happening. Everyone could tell from aura alone that this Pokemon was far stronger than an elemental rank Pokemon.

That Pokemon was Alakazam. Alakazam directly teleported to the back side of Mismagius. It then used spears made out of thunder and fire. Multiple chains made of thunder came out of it and Mismagius was bounded and all the spears made out of thunder and fire was thrown at Mismagius.

Multiple explosion came out of that attack and Migmagius could not do anything other can taking all those hits. The stadium was covered with the smoke and dust of explosion.

Even the commentator could not talk for a few seconds.

"What is happening? How could such a powerful Pokemon appear out of nowhere? Is that even legal?", asked the commentator.

It took some time but the dust and debris were cleared from the explosion and then everyone could see that Mismagius had fainted.

"Mismagius is unable to battle. Primeape wins. Gym leader is requested to send out his final Pokemon.", said the referee. The referee was also surprised. No one knew what had happened.

Finally, Norty could not held this curiosity and asked Axel.

"Axel, what the hell happened? I know that you didn't cheat but if you didn't cheat then how could your Pokemon have such a powerful move?"

"The move would depend on luck with a very low chance. It looks like today is my lucky day."

"Even if you are lucky, my final Pokemon will not be easy to deal with.", said Norty and proceeded to take out his final Pokemon.

'Beat up' had leveled up further more and now it was a level 45 move.

Beat up (Primeape) (Level 40): Can call up to 3 Pokemons from the party for 8 seconds. The Pokemons that are called out would be of the same rank or lower rank. There is a 5% chance that the Pokemon would be 2 ranks higher.

 (Level 45): There is a 1% chance to call a Pokemon who is 3 ranks higher. If this is activated, then the cooldown of this move will be for 7 days and cannot move properly for 5 hours. Can only call the Pokemon for 5 seconds.

The chance was very low at only 1% and it was very hard to trigger but it did trigger right now. Now, Axel was pretty confident that he could win the battle. Only 1 Pokemon was left.

Even though, that Pokemon might be the most powerful among all the 3 that Norty had decided to use in this gym battle, it would not be able to beat 3 Pokemons in a row. Actually 2 of them in a row.

"Gary, you have done a great job. Come back and rest.", said Axel and called out his Primeape in the master ball.

"You are calling it back?"

"Yes. Gary is already very tired also very wounded. It needs some rest."

Norty then went a bit far then he opened a box case filled with master balls. He then proceeded to take one out and then came to the stadium.

"Since you have done so well, let me give you a big challenge this time. Come out, Shadow!!!", said Norty and threw the ball.

This was also a Gengar but Axel could tell from the aura alone that this Gengar was different. He immediately looked at its stats.

These were the moves of Gengar. It was fairly powerful than the other 2. But Axel didn't know how difficult this battle was going to be. He already knew about the move 'Shadow connect'. But he looked at it again just to confirm that it was the same and it was.

Then he looked at the move 'Shadow drive'

Shadow drive: The user gather the shadow around it self and coat it self with these shadow, internally and externally. This will overpower the user in every aspect, specially its ghost type moves.

This mode can only be used for 5 minutes and the user will not be able to move for a week.

It's mastery over the ghost type move will increase with every use of this move.

The move was simply overpowered. Axel didn't know if this move would be as powerful as Charizard's 'Transform'. But an elemental rank Pokemon would not be so powerful. Right? Right?

Axel was going to realize how wrong he really was about this.
