reborn with a doom slayer gacha system in final fantasy 7

Hey guys! Sorry if this is late since I just got home, but on the subject of love interest, someone suggested I change Jessie's fate and keep her alive as John's love interest, so I decided to have Jessie and Yuffie be his lovers.

Hope you all can agreee to this

Now onto the chapter.

(Luggage car, 1 minute before departure)

As the train was chugging along I was talking with Jessie about my gun, apparently they were a lot more advanced than what is usually used by shinra soldiers.

"I made them, although I never knew they were that advanced." I lie as I didn't want to explain my system to her, I feel like if I did I'd be punished by whomever sent me here.

Before Jessie could respond the train screeched as it started to slow down, "alright everyone remember the plan! While John, Cloud and I go and set the bomb I need you all to keep watch! We'll meet at the Rendezvous point and head to base!" Barret ordered as I look over at Jessie.

"Hey Jessie, watch this!" I say catching her attention as I tap the gem on my necklace and everyone watch in awe as my slayer armor manifested around me, even Clous was looking at me with interest.

As the helmet and cape manifested the train went to a complete stop, Biggs and Jessie went to work knocking out the guards at the station terminal before we all moved.

We almost get to the entrance when Shinra grunts came to stop us, "You and cloud deal with them!" Barret said as he joins the others.

"Stop right there criminal scum!" One of the soldiers said as I just roll my eyes, "really? You could gone with anything yet you choose to say that?!" I say to the guard who stood there confused while his partner charges at me.

"Cloud you take the guy on the left, I got this one." I say as I aim my heavy cannon rifle and shot it at his head, but the weirdest thing was he didn't die, instead he went unconscious and left a normal gacha coin.

I look at my gun in horror as I realize something, "I only needed one shot?!" I shout as cloud finishes the other guy who is for sure dead, but he left another normal gacha coin which went into my inventory.

'Huh? So I can also gain gacha coins from people that I am working with, neat.' I think to myself as we turn the corner to join up with Barret, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge who already unlocked the front gate and we're waiting for us.

"So you finally shown up, remember people follow the plan! Jessie, John, Cloud! You're with me!" Barret says as Wedge and Biggs finish hacking into the doors leading us to the elevator.

"Hey Barret, call it a gut feeling, but I think there will be something guarding your target." I say catching Barret and Clouds attention, "How would you know?" Barret asks with suspicion as I shrug, I may already know the story but I figured I should let them know somehow.

"I've never underestimated Shinra's defenses, and if I was head of security for Shinra I'd leave something at the core to deal with intruders." I say casually as we get off the elevator and while Jessie kept watch the three of us head down to the core and as Cloud sets the bomb the robot guardian activated and caught Barrets attention, "we got Company!" He shouted as I feel my strength go into overdrive!

I wasn't sure why, but my instinct is telling me while I face human targets in only at a tenth of my actual strength, when I face things that aren't human my real strength shows.

Faster than Cloud and Barret could react I charge in with my combat shotgun and fired five shots on the mechanical legs, hindering the movement of two of them.

"Okay guys I managed to restrict its movements a little!" I shout as I see the tail light up with a green light.

"Get down John!" I hear Barret say as I move away from the beam, and as I watch the beam fire, I switch back to my heavy cannon rifle I fired multiple shots at the tip of the tail destroying the beam!

Without the scorpion tail the energy beam didn't have a means to release and it exploded from the inside, leaving us unscathed, Cloud walks over and picks up the materia left by the boss, and when we were about to leave I notice my gloves were glowing, that meant and imperial arms was near!

I look over at the now destroyed robot scorpion and saw it, it was Armirger's version of the imperial Magitek Handgonne, as well as an odd materia and a gacha coin for a regular weapon.

Congratulations! You have obtained the limit break Handgonne and the Sly Marbo summon materia! Will you equip the materia to your Heavy Cannon rifle?

"Equips materia, also use the rare weapon gacha coin." I say mentally as I notice the golden materia appear on my rifle.

Complete! You have gained the combat shotgun! Now modifying your combat shotgun…Complete, now has double range.

I listen to my system as we run back to Jessie who caught her foot in the structure she was on, and while Barret and Cloud passed her I helped her out and carried her in a princess carry much to her blushing embarrassment.

And as we make our way through the rendezvous point we find a bunch of Shinra soldiers converging to us.

"You guys go ahead! It'll hold them off!" I say to everyone as Barrets looks at me before turning around, "you better make it back alive, you are too valuable to be shot down!" He says as they all head to the now moving train and head into the luggage compartment.

"Alright time to light em up!" I shout as I pull out my rifle and start firing at all the soldiers knocking half of them out in the first barrage of bullets as I get more normal gacha coins, and deciding it was a fair fight I put my gun away and charge at them with fists, punching them in the gut knocking the rest out giving me more normal gacha coins.

And I see the train in the distance, and realize I'd need to run to catch up, now John Kane I'm the doom franchise was able to outrun his own rockets that supposedly clocked over 120 mph, so I head into a sprinter position and like a human bullets I start running.

Well folks I hope you enjoy the chapter, but should I also have a side mission for John where time freezes when a rift to hell(courtesy of Shinra) opens and he has to kill the Demons that come out until he punching the rift apart?
