Chapter 1: Game Over...
"Will my luck ever change? Will things ever get better?
Just another day. It's always the same: wash my face, brush my teeth, make breakfast... But nothing in my life changes! I see my classmates laughing in the hallways, sharing stories and planning outings. They go to parties, they have girlfriends... while I remain the same. I wonder how much longer I'll have to endure this loneliness. I guess my life will just be video games, anime, manga, and talking to my virtual girlfriends. Ha, ha, yeah, it sounds ironic. But in this world, that's my sad reality.
I sigh. I gather my things, open the door to leave my apartment, and lock it. Suddenly, a girl appears, running in a hurry. Her silver hair shines with a mesmerizing tone, her skin smooth and luminous. Her beauty is dazzling. For a moment, I manage to forget all the times I've been rejected, insulted, and humiliated, and the promise I made to myself to never fall in love again.
The girl bumps into me and we fall to the ground in a rather... compromising position.
Her body presses against mine, and by accident, my hand brushes against her chest.
"Hey, don't you watch where you're going?" I say, trying to hide my nervousness.
"Weren't you the one who wasn't paying attention?" she replies with a frown.
"Huh? My fault? You're the one running around like a demon chasing a soul through the whole building!"
"What? You dare call me a demon? Do you really have no heart?! Kyaah! And you take advantage of the situation to touch my chest! Youre a pervert!"
she exclaims with a murderous look. The girl picks up the books and papers that had fallen after the collision and walks away.
"That's why guys like you are never popular with girls," she says, sticking her tongue out at me. "Blegh!
"I watch her walk away, feeling a mix of frustration and embarrassment. "Ha, girls like her shouldn't tell me what to do," I mutter to myself. "Besides, I didn't mean to touch her... That's why I hate them. Just because they're beautiful doesn't mean all men are perverts."I head to the university with my head down.
When I get to the classroom and take my seat, I think out loud without realizing it: "God, I hope I don't run into another crazy girl like the one from earlier. She looked like a wild boar chasing something." I let out a sarcastic laugh.Suddenly, I feel a piercing gaze on me. The silver-haired girl is sitting next to me, her face red with fury. She looks at me with contempt, but decides to ignore me. A shiver runs down my spine. It seems this day will be more complicated than I thought."
