Chapter 41 - Injecting System Energy into Auntie

Chapter 41: Injecting System Energy into Auntie

Roller coaster, luxury carousel, bumper cars, Ferris wheel, pirate ship.
The two of them enjoyed each ride one by one, like a genuine young couple.

Notably, during the luxury carousel ride, Auntie An Yuwei, whose balance was a bit unstable due to her heavier burden, ended up climbing directly onto Cao Shaoyang’s lap after the initial jolts. Clutching the safety bar with both arms, she unintentionally gave Cao Shaoyang an amusingly awkward moment.

The amusement park offered countless attractions, and amidst the laughter and cheer, Auntie An Yuwei smiled with unrestrained joy. They even skipped a formal lunch, instead snacking on various treats from the park. It wasn’t until dusk fell that Cao Shaoyang reluctantly led a reluctant Auntie An Yuwei out of the park.

On their way back, Auntie An Yuwei chattered excitedly, recounting every detail of their experience. Her enthusiasm didn’t wane even when the two went to bed, still holding each other tightly.

As he held her in his arms, with her bright eyes sparkling and clearly unwilling to sleep, Cao Shaoyang smiled and asked, “Did you enjoy yourself today, Auntie?”

Auntie An Yuwei lightly kissed his cheek, her smile never fading.
“Yes! Auntie had such a wonderful time. This was the first time in my entire life I’ve ever gone to an amusement park. I never had the time or money before, so I could only watch others online.”

“Today, I finally got to experience it for myself.”
“Shaoyang, you’re truly amazing. Auntie must properly thank you.”

Cao Shaoyang gently caressed her delicate face as she leaned in closer. “Oh? And how does Auntie plan to thank me?”

An Yuwei pondered briefly, then suddenly climbed out of his arms.
“Wait here.”

Moments later, she rummaged through the wardrobe, throwing a small piece of purple fabric onto the bed, followed by a plastic-sealed sheet of art stickers.
“What’s all this?” Cao Shaoyang examined the tattoo-like stickers she handed him.

An Yuwei didn’t explain much, instead asking simply, “Shaoyang, did you enjoy the Empress game we played this morning?”

Cao Shaoyang’s eyes lit up. As he studied the stickers in his hand, a sense of familiarity struck him.

“Wait, aren’t these the Celestial Dragon hoof marks from One Piece?”

“Bingo! Congratulations on guessing right. I went to great lengths to get these just for you.”

An Yuwei turned her back to him and slid her delicate fingers over her smooth back. “Now, would you like to leave your very own Celestial Dragon hoof mark on Auntie’s back?”

Cao Shaoyang’s breathing hitched as he stared at her flawless back, imagining how it would look adorned with the mark. His breath grew noticeably heavier.

However, he was still puzzled by the mysterious piece of fabric she had first thrown out. The material was new but oddly shaped, and he couldn’t figure out its purpose.
“What about this?” He pointed at the crumpled fabric.

An Yuwei smiled mischievously. “Don’t worry about that for now. It’s for a surprise later. First, help Auntie apply the tattoo. I can’t do it on my own. Once it’s done, you’ll understand everything.”

“Alright!” Following the instructions on the sticker packaging, Cao Shaoyang meticulously applied the Celestial Dragon hoof mark to her back. There was no room for error—this was something meant for his own appreciation, after all.

Once satisfied with the result, An Yuwei grabbed the enigmatic fabric, opened the door, and stepped out.

When she returned, appearing just like the Empress from One Piece, Cao Shaoyang finally understood. It was an exclusive performance, prepared just for him.

The scene that followed was too dazzling and private to share.

After spending the day and evening together, Cao Shaoyang achieved one of his initial goals: injecting system energy into Auntie An Yuwei. He used everything in the system store that could benefit her—except for extending her lifespan.

The system’s funds, which had started at 1.68 billion, dropped by three million overnight, leaving 1.63 billion.

But to Cao Shaoyang, it was all worth it.

The Next Day…

Auntie An Yuwei, who had taken a day off yesterday, returned to work as usual. This time, Cao Shaoyang decided not to ask her to take another day off to stay home with him.

He didn’t want to disrupt her routine for now. Even though he had already given Auntie several hundred thousand yuan as spending money—more than enough for her to stop working and lead a comfortable life—she still chose to work every day.

An Yuwei explained that living this way made her feel more fulfilled.

For the time being, Cao Shaoyang chose not to interfere with the lifestyle she had decided for herself. However, he had already made up his mind to have an honest conversation with her about everything once his college entrance exam results were released.
