Some distance away from the heart of the Roxana empire, in a familiar house of Heliox, there was a certain individual who had been quite busy these past few days.

"We will take care of it, geez. Take a break already!"

Nolan wasn't the only one helping her. The entire house of Ehliox was moving according to her orders right now.

Be it the servants, the marquis and the marchioness, all the people available in the house were helping her prepare for a grand welcome party, as well as a big surprise.

It was a surprise so it won't be revealed right now, however, she was running around the house all day, preparing the garden, the house, the other house that they had, and she had to utilise even the knights and mages for things that she needed for this.

"Will we even finish this by the time they all come back?!"

"Of course we will, dummy! Why are you even stressed out about this?"

The mother and the aunts of this little child were liking how she behaved when it came to her siblings.

They had gone back to the academy only a few months ago and they were coming back for their big vacation.

They were going to have their exams starting sometime tomorrow but none of their family members were worried about them.

It was simply an exam that they were going to ace anyway, so instead of worrying about how they did in the exam itself, they were looking forward to when they come back.

They were not only preparing for a welcome party, they were preparing for a surprise party more important than the welcome party as well.

There were some things that they were looking forward to, but many of those things weren't related to the children either.

"We will only be here for a few days after they are back anyway, dear. Is all this really necessary?"

"Of course it is! It's more important because we will be going to the other home for the rest of the time they will be here!"

Apparently, the unique birds that were blocking the path to the north of the empire had gone back to their own territory recently.

It meant that the air route that they were going to take, which was blocked until now, had been cleared up and was safe for them.

The north was their first home, and they were going to go there after quite a long time. For Anna, this won't be the first time since she had been there when she was pretty young, but for Eon and even for Elle, this was going to be the first time seeing the northern land of waters.

It was the mother territory of Heliox, the lands that weren't part of the empire until a few hundred years ago.

Eon had not been there since just until a few years ago, he had been stuck in a forbidden forest which wasn't available for any being that wasn't part of that unique forest.

When he came back, he wanted to go there and see the place where his grandparents lived, the place where the family he knew right now had come from, as well as the base of the Heliox family itself.

But, due to some natural restrictions, he could not do it. He went to the academy, and they waited till those near extinct creatures cleared up the space, and now that it was done and they were gone, they were free to go to the first home where both Nolan and Clara's father Elkan were born.

"Anna, this is too much already. Why do we have to prepare the garden, the house, the backyard, and even the kitchen?

Why kitchen especially? Why do we decorate it, exactly??"

Her aunt Haze wanted to know why Anna was taking this so seriously.

The others were simply coming back from the academy after finishing their first year and they were going to stay with them for a little longer than they had this past year.

They were simply coming back and knew about their vacation in their first home, so they weren't expecting a grand welcome like what Anna was preparing.

"Because the kitchen is the most important! Big brother likes that places sooooooo much!"

Even Eon might not have predicted something like this, perhaps that was the only reason their little Anna was doing it, but they weren't sure about it at this point.

They were having fun watching her run around the house in the little time she had after all her physical, theoretical, and mental training.

She went to sleep early and woke up on time for the new day, and yet she somehow found time to nag at them over the preparations.

"He will need the kitchen to make something new! I know that! So we must decorate the kitchen and fill it with all the things that he might need!"

Nolan didn't help her and yet Anna knew about good time management well. She wasn't jiggling around the other things and was simply doing everything one by one, making sure she doesn't exhaust herself too much.

"Haaa… whatever you wish, my great Lady."

She had done that a few times already and the consequences of that weren't that good. So, she was managing one thing at a time.

She was training with the knights for strength, she was reading a few chapters of a new book until she learned something new every single day, and she was trying to understand the unique magical energies that were present inside of her.

"Yes! So! Mama! Just finish your snacks already! We don't have much time today!" Nolan was drinking her evening tea with some good snacks that though weren't as tasty as her son's cooking, they were still great since the chefs that made it were taught directly by him.

They knew what they were doing when they made it, so she was enjoying them.

"I'm almost done, dear. You know what? You should go and check on the knights in the backyard, see if they are making the things properly."

The snacks and tea were good so she wanted to enjoy them, but seeing the restless little girl before her was more fun.

She knew if she did what she wanted, she wouldn't be as restless anymore. So, she wasn't doing as Anna wanted.

"Oh! Alright! I'll be back right away! But I'll drag you back in if you aren't done by then!"

She was making everyone in the house work.

Her dad and Taika were out for the time being, so Nolan and the others were looking after her.

She had the other creatures, the Povpoi and the rest who were helping her, but that was still not enough.

She needed more people, she needed more manpower to finish all that she had thought about.

"I'm going! Finish quickly!"

"Yes yes, jeez ma'am." She smiled at her, and shook her head.

Anna knew her mom was playing with her right now, but since Taika wasn't here, she had no other choice but to rely on her opinions.

They were preparing all this for Eon and the rest of them, and she knew them well.

She was helpful even though she liked making fun of her.

"Haaa…"

It was fun for Nolan, but…

"They need this break."

She was still worried.

Not about this party that Anna was preparing but this vacation itself.

"Hopefully… it will be fine."

With all the things going on in this world right now, she didn't know how much her son and his partners were going through.

They were dealing with so many things that they didn't even know how much they were actually going through.

Be it Lakmer or the grand conference, there was so much that they were going through.

They were still young, a little too young for all the things that they were dealing with.

She couldn't help but worry about them as a mother, but even as someone that knew a little about what they were going through, she could not help her worries.

She knew how they needed to detach themselves from all the things that they were dealing with. Even if they couldn't do it completely, they needed this valuable vacation to free themselves from all the things that they were going through.

-Ooooooooong.

"Hmm?"

"Nol, young miss is asking for you at the back."

"Oh…"

Her uncle Zhen appeared out of nowhere and told her about the little situation going on at the back.

Anna was making all of them work, and with work, complications were bound to happen.

"I can tell this is some new tactic of hers."

"It's pretty good, don't you think?"

"She's a little devil. Haaa…"

Now Nolan had no choice but to finish her snacks quickly and go back.

She had no choice since Anna asked Sir Zhen to call her, so technically, this was urgent.

She needed her at the back, so Nolan had no choice but to go now.

She might know how to play with her little girl but Anna also knew how to get what she wanted, even if she had to use such obvious tricks.

For them, it was cute… but she should do a better job if she wanted to fool someone from outside.

These obvious tricks won't work when she has to deal with someone or something that doesn't Like as much as they do…
