Chapter 396: Chapter 396: From Today On, Be Yourself

"Well, I believe you."

The Third Raikage nodded solemnly before turning to Kirabi, his expression stern.

"Bee, from now on, you'll stay in Konoha for a while. Listen carefully to Master Shinki's teachings and study hard. If you mess around… I'll beat you to death!"

"Uh…?"

Kirabi blinked in surprise, but then, as if on cue, he launched into an impromptu rap. "Oh, Bee's in Konoha—oh yeah!"

The Third Raikage's face darkened. Without another word, he punched Kirabi straight on the head.

THUMP!

"Idiot! Were you even listening?!"

Kirabi rubbed his head with a sheepish grin, but the Third Raikage was having none of it. His normally stoic expression flushed red with embarrassment as he tried to salvage the moment in front of Shinki.

Shinki, who had been silently observing, stifled a chuckle. He maintained a composed demeanor, pretending not to notice the awkwardness.

"Ahem."

After a moment, the Third Raikage straightened himself, his voice gruff.

"Shinki, this brat doesn't always listen, so don't hold back. The kids in the Cloud Village are thick-skinned—feel free to beat some sense into him if he misbehaves."

"...Senior, don't worry." Shinki smiled reassuringly. "I'll make sure to train him well."

Satisfied, the Third Raikage nodded, bid farewell to the Hokage, and left with his guards.

Kirabi, left behind in Konoha, scratched his head nervously.

Looking at the scrawny, dark-skinned boy, it was hard to imagine he would one day grow into the towering, muscular powerhouse known throughout the ninja world.

But for now, Kirabi stood anxiously, his elder brother's warning echoing in his mind. The reputation of Shinki, a ninja even the Raikage respected, filled him with both awe and apprehension.

"Kirabi."

The boy snapped to attention as Shinki addressed him, his voice calm yet probing.

"Do you want to be recognized by the villagers of the Cloud Village?"

"Uh… yes, sir!" Kirabi blurted out.

"Do you want the Raikage—your brother—to praise you?"

"Yes, sir!"

"And do you want to live freely—rap when you want, hold concerts when you want?"

Kirabi's eyes lit up. "Yes! Absolutely, sir! Please teach me how!"

Shinki smiled, seeing that Kirabi's enthusiasm had reached its peak.

"Then free your nature," Shinki began.

"In Konoha, no one will restrict your rap or find you annoying. No one will look at you with bias. But there's something you must do in return—train hard and become a perfect Jinchūriki.

"If you achieve that, the villagers of the Cloud Village will respect you, and the Raikage will praise you. Then you can live the way you want—rap freely and even hold concerts. But this freedom comes only with discipline and hard work."

Kirabi blinked, absorbing every word.

"How do I do that?" he asked earnestly, scratching his head.

"First, work on controlling your chakra. Use the Eight-Tails' chakra more often, gradually improving your mastery over it. If you're talented enough, you might even earn the Eight-Tails' acceptance.

"This is not easy. Gyuuki is a grumpy and combative tailed beast. But your personality—simple, honest, and open—might help you succeed where others have failed.

"Earn Gyuuki's trust, and you'll become one of the strongest Jinchūriki the ninja world has ever seen."

Kirabi was both anxious and excited. "So… does this mean I can sing and rap whenever I want?"

Shinki nodded, smirking. "Yes, but only if you stay disciplined. If you train hard and achieve your goals, the villagers and even the Raikage will cheer for you. One day, you'll be a ninja that others look up to—a strong and respected leader."

"And… will there be beautiful girls asking for my autograph?" Kirabi asked with a blush, his imagination running wild.

Shinki stifled a laugh. "Absolutely. Just stay focused and don't get carried away, okay?"

Kirabi's face lit up as he envisioned a future where he was both admired and loved, his heart swelling with determination.

"Got it, Master Shinki! I won't let you down!"

Shinki gave him a range of activities to train in and left him with a parting warning.

"Kirabi, this area is your training ground. Although Konoha welcomes you, you're still a member of the Cloud Village. Don't wander off unnecessarily, understood?"

Kirabi saluted. "Yes, sir! I'll be more serious than I've ever been before—"

"Stop!" Shinki interrupted before Kirabi could break into another rap. "No more songs for now. Save it for your training."
