Ox showered Hiruzen with many D-rank and E-rank jutsus and many shuriken and other weapons. All of his attacks were stopped when they got close to Hiruzen because an unexpected hexagonal shield appeared, and the shield disappeared as soon as it appeared after blocking the attack. 

Hiruzen was flabbergasted even more than when he tested [Passive Barrier] and thought about the potential application of [ReflexGuard: Advanced Barrier].

He thought, "This seal is a perfect defence that can be used by a single person. Its efficiency is also very high, as it is not active all the time. It can even block ninjutsu from blind spots by sensing chakra through inbuilt detection wards. The seal's main limitation is that for physical objects devoid of chakra, it can only block what the user can see coming. Still, it was still a very powerful seal."

After a brief examination, he acknowledged that replicating the seal was possible, but comprehending its working principles would require a decade or two, maybe more.

Hiruzen looked at Dan and thought, "I was looking up to a future where Ryu turned out to be an excellent combat medic. but I now have to rethink it. The way it is going, it is more suitable for him to be a Fuinjutsu master."

Hiruzen asked, "Are you also going to sell these seals on the market through the council?"

Dan replied, "Yes, these seals we will sell, but not the insight and its training manual; these two seals we will keep as a family inheritance under the protection of the Secret Jutsu Act."

Hiruzen nodded, thinking that the advanced defensive seal was worth declaring as a family legacy. He would have done the same if it was him that created this seal. Even though he could not get the insight into the seal, he still wanted a piece of this delicious pie.

He then thought about the strange phenomena his ANBU had experienced around the Hamura residence and asked, "What about the one that is giving my ANBU some headaches?"

Dan smiled and thought, "So the ANBU were still safeguarding us from the shadows. Just as I had thought."

Dan understood the intention of Hiruzen; that is why he so shamelessly admitted that his ANBU were following them. Dan just smiled, and the face he was making was a subtle message that Hiruzen caught on to.

"So he wants to keep the seal behind that phenomena a secret. Very well." Hiruzen thought.

Hiruzen didn't push on with the [Migraine seal], as he understood that they wanted to keep that seal a secret from everyone. Also because he will soon acquire the [ReflexGuard: Advanced Barrier], which will be on sale for leaf ninjas through the fuinjutsu council.

In the world of ninjas, everyone has some secret, and Hiruzen also had some. Each ancient clan had a seal or two that was completely secret, even from the fuinjutsu council. Just like the [Bird Cage - Seal] of the Hyuga Clan.

Hiruzen expressed, 'Okay, I will inform the Fuinjutsu council about this breakthrough and officially register this seal under your name. I will also be your first purchaser. Let's start with a hundred units.'

Dan said, "I haven't decided on the price yet. I have to reassess the complexity from a price point of view and judge its price compared to other seals. We can discuss that later."

Hiruzen was very pleased with this development because it will enable the village to protect the most important people during conflicts by adding an extra layer of defence. pleased, especially after learning that a new Fuinjutsu grandmaster is in the making, and this one may be even better than all other grandmasters combined. 

Hiruzen requested, "I want to order 100 seals in advance to equip all of my ANBU Captains with the [ReflexGuard: Advanced Barrier] before its public release."

Dan nodded and told Hiruzen that, "OK. I would give you a very good discount for helping us out."

Dan turned to face Yuki and said, "We are going to leave now. You can keep these as a sample for demonstration for now."

Dan and Yuki left the arena, leaving Hiruzen with his thoughts. Hiruzen asked Ox, "Go summon the entire Fuinjutsu council here within the next hour. This time you will be the one to demonstrate this seal."

Ox nodded and disappeared from view. Half an hour later, most of the members of the Fuinjutsu Council were already gathered in the arena. They all discussed what it is this time—a new seal or any other announcement they wondered. Some wondered why they were called in the arena instead of the conference hall.

At the arena's VIP spectator area, Danzo Shimura and the other two elders, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, were visible from a distance.

Koharu said, "It's too soon for a new seal. New seals are not developed like a walk in the park. This must be something else."

Homura said, "Right. If it is a new seal, then it's big news for Leaf Village."

Koharu said, "The last person to develop seals so fast was Tobirama Sensei, and that too was with the help of Mito-Sama."

Danzo didn't say anything and listened to their conversation without any expression whatsoever. Just then Hiruzen appeared with his ANBU guards.

He approached the centre of the arena where the members were waiting while the elders kept looking from the spectator area a short distance away.

Natsurama Senju said, "Hiruzen Dono, you called this council too soon. Is everything okay? Don't tell me it's again a new seal."

Hiruzen shook his head, disappointing everyone present, and said, "No, it's not a new seal but two new seals."

Surprise was evident on everyone's faces when they heard this. Shinnosuke Uchiha thought, "This old fart. He could have just nodded. why he shook his head." 

Hiruzen said, "Dan Hamura presented two new barrier seals to the Fuinjutsu Council for registration. I have called all members of this seal council to witness the seal in action."

Koharu said, "Didn't he submit that seal just a month or so ago? How he managed to create not one but two new seals in a short period of time."

Other members of the Fuinjutsu council also discussed the same between them. New seals don't grow on trees, so their surprise was justified.

"Barrier seal, that's better; we were in need of such seals," Inoshishi Yamanaka, one of the veteran members, said.

Hiruzen looked at one of his guards, Ox, tossed a scroll, and said, "All of you, help him with the presentation. Starting first with [Passive Barrier]."

All guards nodded and flickered from their positions. They had earlier witnessed the seal in action and understood the workings of both seals, so none of them needed explanations.

They appeared some distance away and appeared in the middle of the arena. Ox once again executed the [Passive Barrier] through some hand seals, but no barrier appeared, surprising everyone.

The Shinnosuke Uchiha said, "Well, that was anticlimactic. And embarrassing. Lord Hokage, you didn't test the seal before presenting it to the council."

Hokage looked at him and said, "I did.".

Hiruzen looked at other guards and nodded. His guards fired numerous midrange ninjutsus at Ox, and the barrier did exactly as it was supposed to—it blocked all incoming attacks, appearing on contact with the attack and vanishing the next second.

All the grandmasters understood what Barrier was doing. They were surprised by the mechanism of the barrier but also impressed by its effectiveness in defence.

Hiruzen looked at Shinnosuke Uchiha and spoke, "The barrier only appears when it detects an incoming attack and thus saves chakra. It, however, does not block an inanimate object devoid of chakra."

Just then the guards threw some shuriken at Ox; it was not blocked by the barrier, and he had to deflect it with a kunai. Then again, one of the guards threw a [Fire Bullet], which the barrier blocked without any problem.

Shinnosuke Uchiha was embarrassed by his earlier comment and turned red in shame when the barrier worked.

Danzo opened his eyes for the first time. Being a veteran Fuinjutsu Grandmaster himself, he was aware of the significance of this seal. The village's Fuinjutsu proficiency will advance to a new level if the understanding of this barrier can be combined with other types of barriers or curse seals.

Natsurama Senju asked, "Did Dan share the insight of this barrier seal?". 

Hiruzen replied, "No," and everyone listening was disappointed.

Hiruzen continued, "He will sell the seal in the market to Leaf Village for the sake of Leaf Ninjas, but the insight of these seals will become his family inheritance."

Hearing that, Natsurama Senju said, "That is unfortunate but understandable. I would have done the same to raise the standing of my clan in the village."

Other Fuinjustu councilmen were also disappointed, but what can they do? The Secret Jutsu Act had been a shield for their respective clan's secret jutsu since the foundation of the Leaf Village.If they themselves bypass this Act, that will set a precedent that will bite them in the future, so everyone just accepted the fact that they cannot get their hands on the insight of this seal. 

And if they try to decode the seal the hard way, it could take them years with no guaranteed returns.
