Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

Chapter 222: Chapter 222: The Federation in Uproar

After a heated discussion, the final decision was made: Yue Mu, Yue Xiaomeng's uncle, would lead the Frostmark Fleet out of the Moonfrost Empire, returning to the Yue clan's ancestral lands within the Celestial Empire. Meanwhile, the other T5 fleet surrendered to the Federation of Starsea Humanity, officially becoming the third Federation fleet.

Feng Mo's video and announcement set the entire Federation's citizens ablaze, igniting a fierce desire for unity and peace. Public opinion toward Feng Mo soared, seeing him as a champion for the Federation's reunification.

The Storm Fleet's logistical team swept the battlefield clean in just two and a half hours. During this time, the Storm Fleet used a Stargate to reach the other two systems of the Yunmeng Empire, obliterating all space stations established by Yunmeng and decimating any patrol ships encountered.

The Storm Fleet announced throughout the entire system, warning local forces not to resist, or else they would face annihilation. But some factions still challenged them, and Feng Mo's response was absolute—ruthlessly wiping out any opposition.

With clear lines drawn, Feng Mo did not waste time identifying the allegiances of each faction. In his view, anyone on the opposite side was an enemy to be eliminated.

This approach was only the first step: to establish control, crushing any opposition, whether they were local powers or new arrivals. The second step would involve diplomacy, pulling some factions in while isolating others—a strategy Ai Er would oversee without requiring Feng Mo's direct involvement.

Under Ai Er's management, local forces in the Storm Empire's systems had already been subdued. With the momentum of the video Feng Mo uploaded, the Storm Fleet faced less and less resistance, as few were foolish enough to fight a battle they knew they couldn't win. Feng Mo wasn't shy about granting them death if that was what they sought.

Once the Yunmeng Empire was subdued, the Storm Fleet returned to Yunmeng's main star to restock on ammunition and energy before setting off again—this time for the Moonfrost Empire.

Little did Feng Mo know that Moonfrost's two main fleets had fled, with many of its politicians, nobles, and prominent families escaping to other regions—mainly to the Celestial Empire, the Radiant Empire in the central region, and the Yunshan Empire in the north.

When the Storm Fleet reached the Moonfrost Empire's main system, Moonfrost Star, they encountered no resistance whatsoever.

It suited Feng Mo fine, as it meant no need for further battle. He didn't relish the thought of fighting his own people; such infighting always felt wasteful. Real power, he believed, lay in unity against external threats.

The Storm Fleet's presence struck fear across the galaxy, especially with the stunning revelation of a fully armed battlestar. After securing the entire Moonfrost system, Feng Mo ordered the Storm Fleet to garrison in Moonfrost Starport, planning for the fleet to remain stationed there indefinitely.

The Moonfrost System was a key strategic location, linking the central and northern regions, and required heavy defenses. The Storm Fleet was the perfect fit for the task.

That evening, Feng Mo found himself alone in the largest estate on Moonfrost Star. Once the grand estate of a local duke, the aristocrat had fled with his harem upon hearing that the Storm Fleet was approaching. Feng Mo took temporary residence in this lavish setting.

Relaxing on a luxurious bed, he accessed the Spark Panel, where his mission status now displayed as complete.

[Mission: Secure the Frostsnow Domain. Capture the Moonfrost Empire and Yunmeng Empire (Completed). Reward: 10,000 points, T6 Vermilion Ape-Class Interstellar Battleship Blueprint.]

Feng Mo claimed his reward.

[Reward Claimed. Received 10,000 points, T6 Vermilion Ape-Class Interstellar Battleship Blueprint ×1.]

Finally, after three to four years, the Storm Empire had achieved a significant technological leap, advancing directly from T5 to T6.

Feng Mo eagerly reviewed his new flagship's specifications:

T6 Vermilion Ape-Class Interstellar Battleship:

Armor Strength: 10,000 Units

Ship Dimensions: 7.9 km × 1.4 km × 1.2 km

Speed: 600 Celestial Knots

Warp Drive: Level Six

Dark Energy Matrix Shield: Level Six, 100%

Armament: T6 Black Hole-Class Starbreaker Cannon ×1, T6 Cluster Starbreaker Cannon ×4, T6 Neutron Secondary Cannon ×10, T6 Close Defense Rapid Laser Secondary Cannons ×320**

The stats were superior to the Storm God, particularly in shielding. Previously, shields had been powered by energy blocks, but now they used a dark energy matrix shield, making them five times stronger against heavy attacks.

The T5 battlestar, Battle Planet, was already equipped with a Level Five dark energy matrix shield, capable of withstanding cluster Starbreaker Cannon blasts. Even a Black Hole-Class Starbreaker Cannon wouldn't penetrate it when the shield was at full power.

The armor's thickness and strength, combined with the dark energy matrix shield, made this battleship nearly impervious—perfect for leading charges, like a heavily armored general on an ancient battlefield.

Following his usual practice, Feng Mo personally delivered the Vermilion Ape blueprint to the secure underground vault on Hurricane Prime. He summoned Alisa to join him, and together, they spent nearly a month studying the blueprint in depth.

During this time, Feng Mo also redeemed three essential technologies from the Spark Mall: a space interception device, a warp interception device, and a passive anti-cloak radar. The significant expenditure drained his newly acquired points, leaving him with none, which he noted with a pang of regret.

Working intensively for nearly a month, Feng Mo and Alisa mastered the Vermilion Ape blueprint. They didn't start construction immediately; instead, they fully integrated these three critical technologies, ensuring the entire Storm Empire could deploy them.

Feng Mo planned to install these on every system, life-bearing planet, and resource world within the Storm Empire. Every fleet would also include a starship capable of deploying these technologies, making the empire resilient against any unforeseen situations.

While the public celebrated Feng Mo's success in reclaiming territory, some high-ranking officials in the Federation weren't as enthusiastic. They knew that the Federation was no longer in a position to oppose the Storm Empire. Even if the Federation managed to assemble a quasi-T6 fleet, they doubted it could withstand the firepower of Feng Mo's forces.

The Federation was reluctantly forced to accept that three major empires, with eleven star systems—three of which were large systems—were now under the Storm Empire's control.
