An hour earlier, Reiki had dragged both the evil god and Keji into this pocket dimension. Though only a short time had passed, the world within had already begun to transform. Greenery sprouted across the once-barren landscape, signs of life taking root. It was clear that the fragment of Buzhou Mountain gifted by Immortal Zhu had greatly accelerated the world's development.

Keji, regaining consciousness, looked around and burst into laughter.

"Is this the Sage Land? Not bad… not bad at all! Hahaha!" His voice echoed. "Thank you, Reiki, Medical Ninja!"

Keji's laughter was laced with triumph. He sensed a familiar aura here—a resonance with the natural energy of the evil god. To him, this world was a gift on a silver platter, perfect for becoming his domain.

"Think too much, huh?" Reiki interrupted coldly. "Quit dreaming and fight me. You're not at full strength now, are you? Take your time to prepare—I'll wait. Then, I'll defeat you fair and square, turning your existence into nourishment for this world."

His words were calm, but his tone carried absolute conviction. Reiki's aura was completely reined in, and his eyes—usually clear and bright—were closed, as if he were at peace.

Keji froze for a moment, stunned by Reiki's audacity. Then, a smirk spread across his face.

"You're too naïve!" Keji thought. A child of barely eleven years, daring to speak of such things... Romantic notions of chivalry and fair fights? Foolishness!

"Fine." Keji sneered aloud. "I'll humor you. I'll prepare and stand before you at my strongest. Then, I'll show you the power of a god!"

Without wasting time, Keji began absorbing the power of the evil god. The battle had already accelerated his fusion with the malevolent energy. Now, in this isolated dimension, he could suppress the evil god's will and claim full control.

Little did he know, his enemy was watching with amusement.

"Pfft!"

Keji's triumph was cut short as a long blade pierced through his chest. The strike was clean and brutal, leaving him wide-eyed in shock.

Reiki stood before him, smirking. "How old are you? How can you still be so naïve, thinking I'd actually give you time to recover?"

The energy on the blade erupted, sending devastating waves through Keji's body. Reiki didn't let up. With swift precision, he raised his hand and activated his abilities.

"Gamma Scalpel!"

A scalpel-like energy formed and sliced into Keji's body. Before Keji could retaliate, Reiki's voice echoed again.

"ROOM!"

In an instant, Reiki used his spatial manipulation to retrieve Keji's heart. With a flick of his wrist, he crushed it in his palm.

"Pfft!"

Keji collapsed, but as Reiki had anticipated, this was not the end. Despite his heart being destroyed, Keji's body refused to die. The resilience of those tied to the Evil God Cult was truly maddening.

"Reiki, watch out! That guy's consciousness is awakening!" Gu Jia's voice rang out, breaking Reiki's thoughts.

Reiki tensed. "The evil god himself?"

By logic, the evil god existed between time and space. Even if it regained consciousness, it would likely devour Keji's soul and take full control. This would save Reiki the trouble of fighting both of them.

But Gu Jia's tone carried a warning.

"There's something wrong with this aura," Gu Jia muttered. "Keji didn't fuse with the evil god properly. There's instability—"

Before she could finish, vibrations erupted from the sacred tree nearby. The tree, which had been flourishing with new branches, began to wither. The ground cracked, and a mountain-like form emerged behind Reiki. At the same time, a similar shadow rose behind Keji's crumpled body. The aura radiating from these shadows was thick and malevolent.

A deep voice reverberated, shaking the very fabric of the world.

"Is that you, little Gu Jia?"

The sound was like a great bell tolling, its resonance carrying immense pressure. The power of heaven and earth trembled in its wake.

Gu Jia, still fused with Reiki, was forcibly ejected by the sheer force of the voice. Transforming into a long dragon, she coiled protectively around Reiki.

"Lord Buxie," Gu Jia murmured, her head bowed under the immense bloodline pressure of the entity before them.

The shadow behind Keji began to take shape, forming into a humanoid figure. Its presence was overwhelming, an existence that seemed to transcend the world itself. Buxie's voice rang out again, dripping with disdain.

"Is this the human chosen by Zhu?" Buxie mused, his tone cold. "Impressive, but bestowing such gifts on one so insignificant… isn't that excessive?"

The pressure of Buxie's words alone struck Reiki like a physical blow. His chest tightened, and blood trickled from the corners of his mouth.

Gu Jia attempted to intervene. "Lord Buxie, your body is decayed. Is this your attempt at reconstructing yourself? Surely you know—"

"Enough!" Buxie roared, cutting her off. His anger manifested as a tangible force, blasting Gu Jia away.

Reiki's thoughts raced. This power… it's beyond anything I've encountered. Even with my connection to this world, I can't match him. Are all beings of the Sage Land this terrifying?

"Little one," Buxie addressed Reiki directly. "Give me this world. In return, I will grant you anything you desire. Even the complete inheritance of time and space. The knowledge you seek is not meant for humans."

The oppressive aura surrounding Buxie began to condense, flowing into Keji's lifeless body. Slowly, the figure of Buxie became more defined, the energy coalescing into a humanoid form.

Reiki gritted his teeth, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts. This… is the true power of the evil god? No, this isn't just power. This is something beyond reason.

Despite the fear coursing through him, Reiki's resolve hardened. "If you want this world, you'll have to take it from me!"

The stage was set for the ultimate confrontation—Reiki versus the god-like Buxie. Would he stand a chance against such an overwhelming force, or was this truly the end?

The battle for the Sage Land begins.
