Waiter from Nowhere

Chapter 34: World in Turmoil

Jay stood at the precipice, watching as the storm clouds gathered on the horizon. It wasn't just a natural phenomenon. No, this storm was a manifestation of the chaos that raged within him. The light and darkness inside him had become unstable, their struggle for dominance threatening to tear the world apart.

As he looked on, he saw the first signs of the world reacting to his awakening. The land trembled, mountains shaking as if they were being forced to shift in their very foundations. The oceans roiled, waves crashing violently against the shores, sending tidal surges inland. The wind howled with unnatural force, carrying with it a chilling sense of something more—something ancient, something primal.

Jay could feel the power building inside him, threatening to consume him entirely. It was as though he were standing on the edge of an abyss, unable to see the depths below, but knowing with an unshakable certainty that once he took the next step, there would be no going back.

And then, as if in response to his inner turmoil, the world began to change. The very fabric of reality seemed to warp and twist, the skies darkening, the earth shaking with every breath he took. A cry echoed through the wind—a call to every living being, every race, every creature, to heed the coming storm.

But none would escape its wrath.
